I don’t answer her as her growl and voice pull me out of my shock, I scramble to my feet and before they can react I jump and run past them. A shiver of fear runs through me as I hear them get to their feet growling and follow. I don’t look back as I hear them yell and then others join them in chasing me.

More days pass and Graves keeps a precise record of how many lashes he has given Elizabeth because he knows that as soon as he hits that 990 mark he has only 10 lashes left and then she is his.The last 10 lashes by Beatrice’s orders had to be done with the whip dipped in their Deaths Door serum. Now this serum is deadly even in the watered-down state that is used, if whipped enough times the consequences can be deadly.Graves is over elated as he is nearly there, he is nearly at the last 10 lashes of Elizabeth’s punishment.
