I sniffled, crying, and Jaden walked in the door at that exact moment. "I just dropped Dandara off at her mom's place, and-"

I lift my eyes to meet his and wipe my congested nose from crying so much.

"Oh, my love, are you okay?" He asked, walking over to me.

"I have other kids, I just don't understand why it still hurts so much to have her away from me," I murmur.

"Because Dandara was your first little girl, because you love her, because you were the first to care for her. So many whys," he holds my face.

"Jaden, do you think she'll be well cared for?" I ask, tearfully.

"Of course she will, I'm sure of it," he hugs me. "And if she isn't well cared for, we'll bring her back, how about that?" he smiles.

"You promise?" I pout. "I'm so worried. Serena didn't care for her before,"

"Don't worry, love," he kisses my hand. "We'll keep on loving her. But now, as aunt and uncle," he smiles at me.
