Chapter Twelve

It was 7pm already. Nena had been driving for an hour nonstop now until she finally met with the regular Lagos traffic. She was disappointed although not surprised. She had lived in the city all her life and had been accustomed to their age old traffic. She had actually wanted to arrive home with the dinner she picked up from a Mc Donald restaurant outlet in the city. She was headed to Dani’s place and wanted to spend another romantic evening before she travelled back to Abuja the following day for the case on Lucile.

She began reminiscing about the sex they had the previous night with Dani and was thinking she could re-create the whole scene again once she got home but there she was, stuck in the unpleasant Lagos traffic.
