Chapter Eleven

Friday the thirteenth of October; six months earlier, it was no surprise that it had been raining heavily at that time of the year. Everyday came with an even heavier sequence of rainfall and thunderstorms. This particular day was no different . Light ray flashes of lightening thunderbolts had been seen traveling from North to South ranging from both the East and west. The rain had been trickling down the drainage pipes on the rooftops to hit hard on the interlocked floor at the St Monica catholic Cathedral at south west Bariga, Lagos.

The cathedral was a long withed building of relatively tall heights . it covered several vast acres of the land and was mostly found to be silent especially on days like this where the roads had been flooded In the city.
