Chapter Thirty-Four
Lina's POV
"Remi." I waved at him to show him where I was sitting.
He started walking over to the table and stopped in his tracks as soon as he saw Ethan, his ex-boyfriend, more like his fail of a first love. During our freshman year, he had a little crush on Ethan that blossomed into love, back then he didn't know how bad society reacted to people being gay and he confessed to Ethan, Ethan said he liked him too and they started "dating". One day, Remi was on his way to give him his birthday gift and overheard him and his friends talking about him. Ethan said that the only reason he was dating him was because and I quote, "If you put a bag over his head and block his dick out of your brain, it feels like you're fucking a girl." Ethan never realized that Remi had heard what he said but they broke up.
He took Asher away from me so I knew I needed to get the upperhand and the heartbroken look on his face is the process of power passing on to me. He faked a smile

Alex's POVWe only had two weeks left before we had to go back home to get ready for school and Zoe and I hadn't talked since our first night, I wanted to apologize but when I thought more on it, I realized that she should be the one to apologize to me and instead, she was avoiding me. I never saw her at breakfast but I always saw Chris with two plates of food in hand, she never accepted Cole's invitation to play billiards and one time when I was in the elevator, she had wanted to get on but the moment she saw me, she turned the other way.
