TeddyI can't stop the tears that fall as I hold her hand. My heart hurts knowing the pain she is going through. The monitors are still beeping letting us know she is still here. Dr Case has said that once she starts to wake the pain will be more than before, the healing process would hurt worse. My wolf can’t feel Ava, and I’m scared as to what that may mean. TeddyI hurry back to Jenni as quickly as I can. My mind isn't on anything but her. I have to be close to her, I feel like I can’t breathe unless she is close. I need to touch her, to hear her breathe, to see her. As I walk into the room I look at the Dr and her mother, “No Change Teddy.” Luna says. My heart drops more. Her face looks less bruised, not as puffy, I come to her left side as Bex moves, giving me the seat she was in. I grab her hand “I’m here Jenn baby, I’m here” I start to kiss her fingers again. The pain in my heart is so intense I feel like I am about to burst from anger and fear. Dr Case comes to do a check up and change out her saline bag. I watch every movement making sure that they don't hurt her and make sure that she is okay. Dr Case removes the old bag and checks her arm for healing, she's able to remove some of the gauze as her arm is starting to heal. Alpha Rick“What do you mean she was somewhat healed?” I look at my Beta and his wife as they and my wife come to tell me the latest information. “Teddy was holding Jenni’s hand when Bex went to touch him, she cried, removed her hand and there were burn marks on her hand. BexWhat the actual hell?! I know this worked before, I didn't imagine it, I still have the sores on my hand to prove it! Why didn’t it work again? What didn’t we do right? Is there only a certain way it can be done, or is it a certain time? I don't understand what went wrong. The book has to have some answers, I’m not going to stop until I find them. I’m at a full run heading to the library, and I know Marc is right behind me, I get to the library and run straight for the book. There are desks here with computers setup to help with research for everything under the sun. I have to figure this out. Jenni needs to get better. So how do I make this work again? I head to the desk in the center of the room that has dual monitors cause I want to be able to look at every angle of this at once. TeddyI jump from my seat, and move to Jenni’s other hand, I look up at my family to ask who will take it this time, and Marc walks forward. “If this works, use me before Bex, I don’t want her hurting.” His face is hard. “Alright.” I say with determination. TeddyAfter Marc left with Bex, Alpha told me to transfer some of the injuries from Jenni to himself and my father. I settled in the chair to hold Jenni, and looked to my father and Alpha. Alpha stepped forward and told me to grab her left leg. I uncovered her legs and moved the hospital gown over so I could grab her calf trying to be considerate of boundaries. TeddyI start to stir as a light surrounds me. I feel warmth and calm. I look around and see that I am not in the hospital room with Jenni, and I start to panic. “Jenni!? MarcusI refused to leave when Dr Case told me she was going home to rest before the next day's rounds. There was no way I was letting Bex be by herself. Her slow breathing and the faint beeping from her heart monitor lulled me to sleep. I was awakened by a hand going through my hair while my head rested on her leg. “Marc?” I shot up at the sound of her beautiful voice. “Bex baby, how do you feel? Do I need to call anyone, do you need anything?” I don't know what to do, where to go or how to make her feel better.
