Alpha RickI tell everyone that I want to meet with them in my office. My wife, Josh and Mary are here with me waiting on Miranda, Marc, Bex and the others. Miranda arrives first looking nervous being called into the Alpha’s office. Teddy and Jenni arrive shortly after. I watch as Jenni gives Miranda a once over with absolute anger and maybe a bit of hate in her eyes. Teddy as well seems to be uncomfortable with this she-wolf in our presence. “Miranda, please take a seat as we wait for the others.” She walks over to the chair in front of the fireplace, sitting on edge looking almost like a scared rabbit. I mind-link my warriors outside the door telling them to enter once Marc and Rebecca arrive. Almost instantly after, they walk through the door hand in hand, Just as Miranda sits down. I watch her as she stares at their joined hands, a look of hurt goes across her face. “Everyone please, take a seat.” I say as I walk over to the sitting area. I look at Marc who subtly nods his head.

JenniI looked around the room at my parents and Teddy. It is so strange knowing what I know and not being able to explain any of it correctly. I know that we have to look for the cold ones, and that these particular ones are to be regarded as foes. The question is how do we know which are the foes? Are they all bad? Is there a defining mark or characteristic that will show us who we are looking for? I have so many questions but I cannot come up with any answers.Teddy and I were able to talk about what happened and how I was healed. I can't believe he is a vessel. That means that he will be able to heal me at any time he feels like it. But, if memory serves, it takes a lot of his life force to do it. MarcusI refused to leave when Dr Case told me she was going home to rest before the next day's rounds. There was no way I was letting Bex be by herself. Her slow breathing and the faint beeping from her heart monitor lulled me to sleep. I was awakened by a hand going through my hair while my head rested on her leg. “Marc?” I shot up at the sound of her beautiful voice. “Bex baby, how do you feel? Do I need to call anyone, do you need anything?” I don't know what to do, where to go or how to make her feel better. I look at her, she's so beautiful even with the sores on her arm,neck and face. “I’m okay Marc, I promise I feel a lot better than before, I’m not in any pain. I actually want to get up and see Jenni. Is Dr Case around?” I’m terrified that she is going to ask Teddy to transfer more. I look at my watch and see that it is still night. “No baby, she left to rest before tomorrow. We should just wait for her tomorrow.” I just want to be there with her, just us holding each other.
