Alpha RickThe roller coaster ride we've been on since Jenni’s first vision was enough to make my head spin. I was trying to come to terms with some of the information I had received from the archives. There was nothing in there that would say that Jenni couldn’t marry and have pups, but there was something about her mate. That their union would be the catalyst for her gift. That was something I wanted more information on how and what those consequences would be. The other information was rooted around her siblings and loved ones. There were more gifts that would be given to them by her, but there weren’t definite descriptions of who would get what.It made me nervous thinking about my son having gifts of any kind. JenniI am back in the clearing. The heat is unbearable, the smell of burning flesh and fur is so intense it is seared into my senses. TeddyI can't stop the tears that fall as I hold her hand. My heart hurts knowing the pain she is going through. The monitors are still beeping letting us know she is still here. Dr Case has said that once she starts to wake the pain will be more than before, the healing process would hurt worse. My wolf can’t feel Ava, and I’m scared as to what that may mean. No oracle before has been without their wolf, they are the anchor to her and the goddess. Her breathing is slow and steady as Dr Case has given her sedatives to keep her asleep while they work on her to help her heal. The IV has antibiotics and she received blood from Luna which has changed her scent a bit, mingling the two. TeddyI hurry back to Jenni as quickly as I can. My mind isn't on anything but her. I have to be close to her, I feel like I can’t breathe unless she is close. I need to touch her, to hear her breathe, to see her. As I walk into the room I look at the Dr and her mother, “No Change Teddy.” Luna says. My heart drops more. Her face looks less bruised, not as puffy, I come to her left side as Bex moves, giving me the seat she was in. I grab her hand “I’m here Jenn baby, I’m here” I start to kiss her fingers again. The pain in my heart is so intense I feel like I am about to burst from anger and fear. Dr Case comes to do a check up and change out her saline bag. I watch every movement making sure that they don't hurt her and make sure that she is okay. Dr Case removes the old bag and checks her arm for healing, she's able to remove some of the gauze as her arm is starting to heal. Alpha Rick“What do you mean she was somewhat healed?” I look at my Beta and his wife as they and my wife come to tell me the latest information. “Teddy was holding Jenni’s hand when Bex went to touch him, she cried, removed her hand and there were burn marks on her hand. When we looked at Jenni’s hand that Teddy was holding, it was almost completely healed.” Mary explains to me. I have never heard of this before that I can remember and the thought that my daughter may be healed from Teddy touching another makes my heart jump, but then fills me with dread. As much as I don't want my daughter hurting, I don't want anyone else to be either. BexWhat the actual hell?! I know this worked before, I didn't imagine it, I still have the sores on my hand to prove it! Why didn’t it work again? What didn’t we do right? Is there only a certain way it can be done, or is it a certain time? I don't understand what went wrong. The book has to have some answers, I’m not going to stop until I find them. I’m at a full run heading to the library, and I know Marc is right behind me, I get to the library and run straight for the book. There are desks here with computers setup to help with research for everything under the sun. I have to figure this out. Jenni needs to get better. So how do I make this work again? I head to the desk in the center of the room that has dual monitors cause I want to be able to look at every angle of this at once.
