“Am I supposed to just trust every Tom, Dick and Harry that say they are someone they ought to be? This is not the first time that we are having issues like this. Not everybody can be trusted. Alice just came here because she wanted our help. You heard her, when she has gotten rid of her problem, she would be out of our lives. I know that you would like to do some reconnecting hoping that she would forgive you and I but she isn’t going to do that. She hates us already and she might as well want us dead. So forgive me if I don’t buy the fact that she is here to reconnect. Get me Louis and let us solve her problem” Jared said to Xavier.

“Hold on, you are just going to let her go? I don’t get it! Why would you do that? You are supposed to fix whatever the hell went wrong with the both of you. Why can’t you do that? Why is your pride standing in the way of your thoughts?” Liam asked him.

“Because there is no reason for me to fix it. You heard what she said. She said that when she has he

“I can do that but I wouldn’t do that, not even for you. This has to be her choice, Liam and you have to trust that she wouldn’t become someone that you can’t recognize. Anything apart from that, I can’t help you. If I put up a rule, you can be rest assured that your sister would do whatever she wants, with or without my rule. You also can’t restrict her. She is always going to be the way she is, free. Also, if she is a white wolf like you have been saying, she is automatically immune to my commands, my compulsions. I can’t have her under rules” Jared said to him. “So am I supposed to just sit back and watch then do whatever it is that they want? I brought Layla into this life and if she doesn’t survive, it is going to be on me. I am not prepared for that type of burden” Liam said back to him. “Layla chose this life when she said yes to marrying you just like she is choosing to become a wolf, with or without your approval. This is her choice, just like everything else has been her c

“Then maybe it is all worth it” Liam said to her.“I can’t believe this. You would rather drop our marriage than drop your pride and give me what I want? I guess you were right after all. I don’t know who you are” Layla said to him. “And trust me when I say that you don’t want to find out!” Liam said to her He turned around and he walked out, leaving her heartbroken. He didn’t know how else to tell her that he was never going to be in support of her doing this. He had tried every way but it felt like she wasn’t listening to him at all and so, he had given up on trying to stop her but if she expected him to support her, then she was joking. He headed to the gym and decided to take his anger out on the punching bags. He was there for hours when he felt a cold breeze run down his spine. He paid no attention to it even though he knew that the feeling was a new one. He had never felt something so cold in his life because he was a wolf, he was a warm blooded creature and he never knew was

“I don’t know who you are or what you are but my sister would never say these things to me. I advise that you leave me alone or I would make life a living hell for you, for whoever is doing this to me” Liam said to her. “No, you cant. You cant do what you have done over and over again. All you have ever done is make my life a living hell so if you want to do it again, be my guest! It is not like this is the first time you are doing it!” she said to him. He moved back and he found himself outside the room. He didn’t know what to think. He looked around and he saw the same door all around him. “I am done with your doors!” he screamed at no one in particular. The doors disappeared. He looked around in shock. He controlled this place and he was just realizing it. He got up and he headed to the entrance and he looked at it he tried to imagine the door that led out of the house but each time that he tried, he ended up with a terrible headache. He figured that there was no leaving here.

“There is a history no history of a white wolf in the family but your father and I guessed as much that one of our kids would be white wolf. When you first transformed and you were a Grey wolf, we figured that Alice would be white wolf but she wasn’t transforming and we figured that we were wrong about two Grey wolves making a white one. I guess that we can say that she is a late bloomer and she is the strongest wolf that might ever walk the surface of the earth” his mother said to him. They both felt a tremble and Liam looked at his mother. He could see that she was as shocked as he was. She didn’t know what was happening.“What is going on?” he asked her. “I don’t know. Nothing like this has ever happened here before” she said to him. “Well, things can’t just go right for once” Liam said to his mom, rolling his eyes. Jared was in his study when he sat down. He was tired of all the drama and he just wanted it to all go away. He was constantly under pressure and he was tired of th

“You don’t know that. That is a lot of what ifs. Those are lots of possibilities. What if this, what if that. You don’t know it! You said that Alice needs you. She needs you. You cant get out of here because you can’t forgive yourself. Alice loves you and she is going to forgive you eventually. She knows that you would do anything for her and that is why she loves you. She would forgive you but she needs you and if you do not forgive yourself, she would be the one to suffer the consequences” his mother said to him. “What do you mean?” he said to her. He felt the place shake. He looked at his mother and he could see that she was just as confused as he was. “Is that supposed to happen?” he asked her. “That has never happened before. The world here is not controlled by time. It is always so peaceful. There has been no tremors here in a long while. The last time it happened was when I first got here” she said to him. “Was it bad or good? Was it a bad sign or a good sign?” he asked he

“When your mother and I made a promise to always look out for you and your brother no matter where we were, we were not kidding with you. Your mother and I made a mistake by not staying behind and leaving the both of you on your own. We went off to war and that ruined you and your brother. We didn’t get the chance to say sorry. We didn’t get the chance to say goodbye and we definitely didn’t get the chance to explain to you why we made that decision. You see, the war took our parents from us, both of our parents and I think that left a scar. We became driven by revenge. We didn’t want anything else to happen to us. The fact that we both felt so help less and we were two Grey wolves was a feeling that we couldn’t get rid off and so we decided to take our revenge and we died in the process, leaving you and Liam on your own. I know that it was hard growing up without us but I am glad that you turned out fine. I am so proud of you and your brother” he said to her. “We were not so proud o

“You are blaming me for this? You are blaming this for all of this? That is crazy! How can you even make sense of the fact that I am being blamed for your own misfortunes? Do you not see it? Whatever happened to you is solely your fault. You have been a liability to everybody! You always have been and being a white wolf would not change that about you! It wouldn’t make any difference. You might think that you can take care of yourself now but that is a lie. You cant get out of your problems on your own and that is why you came here to ask for Jared’s help, to ask for my help because even though you are the strongest person to walk the earth in our generation, you are still as weak as when you were eighteen. Nothing changed! If you didn’t see that before, then you should now!” Liam yelled at her. “Liam, you are going way too far with your words! I have heard enough!” Jared snapped at him but it was pointless because the both of them paid zero attention to him. “Yes, maybe I am weak.

“I just want to sleep. It is not that much of a big deal” Xavier said to her lazily “Yes it is. Xavier! Keep your eyes open or else Louis would die and there would be no way of bringing me back into this world. Everything is in your hands right now and I know that the pressure is there. The demon in my body wants you to fall asleep just it can kill you and make it’s presence in this world permanent but we can’t afford that right now. We can’t do that or else we would have been fighting for nothing” she said to him. She knew that the talk wasn’t going to help. He was a wolf and he stood no chance against ancient spells. He was as good as gone and Laura knew this. She knew that if she didn’t act fast enough, she was going to lose him too. She started to think and chant at the same time, hoping that something would work and an idea would pop up in her head when it did. She was still linked to her body. If she tried to get into her body, that might be able to push the demon out of her b

After trying for minutes and she realized that she couldn’t send Jared there, her world broke. She knew that she was going to need her sister. She needed Louis. She sighed and she tuned around. She saw her standing there. “How did you get out of that room?” Laura asked her. “She didn’t, I did. I know that you do not trust me, I understand that but right now, we need to put our differences aside and fix things. We need to put our conflict aside if you want to get Alice back. Louis can perform the spell that you require of her. Let her do it” Zoe said to her. “Why is she speaking about herself in third person?” Xavier whispered. “Because that is not Louis. That is an entirely different being. That is not my sister and I do not trust her to handle this. I have never trusted her and I wouldn’t make that mistake now” Laura said to her. “I didn’t say that I was going to be the one to cast the spell. I am going to give this body back to its rightful owner because I taught her well enoug

Whether it was the right thing or not, she knew that it was too late to ask questions now. She had started this without her sister and that was exactly how she planned on finishing it. There was no going back now. She just hoped that this action wasn’t going to push her sister down the dark path. She sighed as she drove silently, on her way to get the blade that was going to put all of this insanity to an end. This was going to be the last time that she was going to have to deal with Doris. Never again. She was going to remove Doris from the picture and lead the coven in the right way. This was going to be the way to unite all of the witches of the Quarter. With Jared backing her up, it was going to be an easy task. With the help of Xavier, she was ready to face the world and with her sister by her side, it was going to be a piece of cake. All she had to do right now was just find te blade. Hopefully, it was right where she remembered leaving it. She needed to have this day easy. She

“Well, I guess we just have to hope and pray that she wins this. We have been through so much just to die in the end” Liam said to them. “I don’t care about what you say. Alice knows and understands what is at stake and she knows better than to let Doris win this. Besides, it is the prophecy” Jared said to them. “Prophecies can change. The real question is this. Can she do what is necessary make sure that the prophecy comes to pass?” Liam asked him. “Now is the wrong time to be doubting the abilities of someone that killed herself just so you can get your wife back! She would do what she needs to be done. You are in no position to question her abilities and her capabilities. There would be consequences of that action. That, I can promise you” Jared said to him, his eyes glowing. “Alright, why don’t we all calm down?” Louis said as she walked quietly into the room. “Louis!” Laura exclaimed. “I know, I am just as surprised to be alive as much as you are but we do not have time. “That wouldn’t be necessary. I was always here, camouflaged with the dark for a reason. We need to get you out of here” Laura said, walking out of one of the dark corners of the place. “How is this even possible?” Alice asked her. “We don’t have time to explain but when we do, I promise that I will explain to you at length but right now, we need to focus on the important questions like why the hell did you not try to make a deal to reach out to the outside world so that we can bring you home?” Laura asked her. “Because you can’t bring me home. Louis killing me for Layla was something that Doris saw happening. I don’t know how she did but she foresaw it and she tied me here using the blood that she got from me and my unborn baby. This entire place is created to keep me captive. There is no going home of for me. This is home now so just quit trying to bring me back. It is totally hopeless” she said to them. “That is insane. You don’t deserve this. This is not how your story is suppo

Laura looked at Jared and she could see the last piece of hope and faith he had in his eyes. He needed her back and she knew this too. She knew that there was no way he was going to win this without her by his side. She said a silent but quick prayer to the moon goddess, asking for success this was her home and she was going to be devastated if she has to let it go. She started her spell and dropped on the floor. Jared was going to step into the circle when Liam stopped him. “No, trust her. She knows what she is doing. I trust her and you should too” he said to her. Jared looked at him and he nodded at him. He had no choice. They had tried too many different ways to get her back and if this didn’t work, if Laura couldn’t get her back then nobody could. If this didn’t work, he was going to ask that a witch embalm her body and preserve it so that he could wander around until he found somebody that could bring her back. He wasn’t going to give up on her and he wasn’t going to stop unti

“Xavier!!” she called out to him. He was as irresponsive as the first three times she had called out to him. Until he heard her or recognized her presence, he wasn’t going to be able to see her or feel her. She needed a way to get to him and she needed to do it fast. She could feel the rumbling of whatever universe they were in. it was coming down. The realm was closing in on them and they were about to be stuck in it forever. “He cannot hear you or see you. I think you should use your magic to pull him out of there” she heard Zoe say. “That would fracture his mind! I wouldn’t do that” she said to her. “Tick tock. Time wait s for no wolf, or no witch in this case. What do you want to do? Stay stuck here forever? You can’t do that! You need to get us out of here before the place comes down on us” Zoe said to her. “Xavi, I know you can hear me. I know that you are still in there. I need you to focus, I need you to look at me. She opened her eyes and turned to look at Alice, still laying lifeless on the floor. Her heart sank. She closed her eyes, trying to quiet the world around her and retrace her steps but that was a mistake because immediately she closed her eyes, she felt her presence. Zoe, she had come along with her. Louis walked up to Alice and touched her. Her body felt cold and she turned around to look at Liam who was staring at her. “Where is Alice? Why didn’t you bring her back?” Liam asked her. “I don’t know what happened, she should be back by now. I found her, I traded my freedom for her soul. She should have come back with me!” Louis said to him, confused as ever. The front door flung opened and they both gasped. Doris stood in front of them and Louis stood up. She waved her hand in the air and that sent Doris flying across the hall way. “The boundary spell is down. I don’t know how she managed to pull it down but this is our fight now. Liam looked at her, not sure of what decision to make. There was no way they were getting out of this alive and he knew this. He said a quiet prater to the moon goddess if she was listening and he looked at Louis. He saw that she was staring at him, waiting for a response. “Your major focus should be on my sister and my wife. Make sure that they wake up. We need them, whether we are willing to admit it or not. Having them here would definitely even the playing field. That should be your only concern right now” he said to her. “What happens to Doris then?” she asked him. “Let me worry about her. I would take care of her but no matter what happens, make sure that she doesn’t get to Alice. She must not get to her” Liam said to her. She looked at him and she could see the fear in his eyes but she knew that he was right and that was the only way. She had been working on a way to reverse the spell or at least make a potion to counter it. She needed to act fast, she needed to work fast.

I am going to make sure that she doesn’t have a backup spell that she can cast just in case her first plan does not pull through” Laura said to him. “You need to listen to me. She has this new pet. It is some sort of creature that she managed to pull out of its cage in the ancestral world and that beast has a very nice way of carrying out all of her orders. Your sister and Liam do not stand a chance against that beast. You need to go back to the house so that you can help them” he said back to her. “Look, I just came back from the dead, thanks to my sister.
