“You are not seriously going to gobble down that whole bowl of pudding?” Jack sounded shock. He had been watching in awe as the two were clearly enjoying themselves.

“It’s pudding Jack,” Jason said between spoonful of pudding.” He managed a giggle into the mix.

He just sits there looking at them. He can’t ever remember as a child enjoying sweets as it wasn’t allowed. He wonders what had happened in the movies with Jazz. She somehow also had a moment of panic. He looked down at his hand still seeing the imprints on his skin.

“Are you really not going to try?” Jason seemed a bit disappointed.

Jack looked into his eyes, seeing the hope but also uncertainty. He took the again offered spoon from a now silent Jazz. His first spoonful of the tasty mixed bowl of fruits, nuts and custard surprised him.

“I told you it was delicious.” Jason stood and went to play at the old fashion pinball machine.

“How often do you come here, Jazz?”

“How did you guess?” she asked with a small smile.
