Julie Warren quickly entered the homeless shelter. She kept looking over her shoulder. She wasn’t certain but the man she just saw shooting that other man down in the alley has her nervous and anxious. She had managed to elude him for almost three years. The last time he caught her, there were hell to pay.

“John Warren,” she said his name to release the heaviness across her chest. “If you are around here it means someone recognized me somewhere.”

She quickly rushes to the kitchen looking for Martha but the woman wasn’t there. She put the groceries away then went and look for Tina Duncan. The woman was her responsibility out here. She found her busy sorting old clothes. She discovered the rich lady wasn’t ashamed of getting her hands dirty.

“Tina,” she carefully closed and locked the door.

“Is something wrong?”
