Kelvin’s POV

I took a deep breath as I stepped into the mansion, there were tons of maids and guards working relentlessly in there, and it was too huge for me to start roaming around and guessing where Arthur or Iris was, so I simply approached the nearest maid.

“Would you be kind enough to point to me the direction of Arthur's room”? I asked politely.

Her eyes widened in shocked, and she curtsied, I could understand her reaction as Arthur was a big shot here, as the owner and their employer they had to accord respect to him, she left what she was doing immediately.

“Follow me.” She politely requested.

I nodded my head and followed her. We walked past several rooms, ascended the stairs and took a left turn twice before we arrived at a huge room. She knocked gently on the door, and it was opened from the inside. She bowed her head and excused herself. I understood what she meant and took a deep breath right before I stepped in.

The house was nothing like what I knew before.
