Unexpected Call

Arthur's POV

My life became a total mess, I was either with whiskey, or other strong drinks just to make me stop seeing Iris. She was everywhere, at the club, at home, even in my heart, and it was getting really frustrating.

“Get out of my heart, iris!” I came home drunk, thought of her, still driving me crazy. I was supposed to be a Mafia, how did I end up like this? How did I get so emotionally attached to her?

There was nothing I had not done to kick her out of my life. I had gone clubbing, taken girls to a hotel room, yet I couldn't have fun with them because they were not Iris.

"Get out!' I recalled when one of them tried to touch me on one occasion, that was how I screamed, making her flinch.
