Meeting My Greatest Enemy

Arthur's POV.

“Iris!” Her name left my lips, my eyes watching her as my heart hammered in my chest. She wasn't tied up like I had expected, and I felt this was an enormous trap. However, there was no time to think because I had missed her so much.

It had only been hours since she got missing, and I had already lost it because I thought I had lost her. She was taken out of town, I thought she had been killed by my enemies. Thankfully, she was standing in front of me. The feeling in my heart held different expressions, but I knew what I wanted to do. I wanted to hug her in such a way that she would lose her mind. She was someone special to me, we had different good moments together even after talking, she helped me see things in a better light.

As I approached to hug her, my eyes caught sight of someone. I had been so excited to see Iris, and didn't even notice who was beside her. That explained why she wasn't tied up, it was her father who had kidnapped her.
