I Miss Him

Iris' POV

I could read the look in his eyes. He was sorrowful, he couldn't even believe what I said to him. Telling him to leave me wasn't easy, but it had to be done to bring back peace. They would never be at peace if I went with Arthur, and I knew it. Asking him to leave was the only way to do that.

“Iris, you can still think about this, you can make a change, don't do this please…” he pleaded with his eyes on me.

However, my mind was already made up. I would rather not see him like this. I could tell he was broken. We were both in love with each other, and even when we didn't tell each other, our passionate moments showed that we were meant for each other, and just recalling it made me cry even more.

He asked me to think about it, asking me to reconsider the fact because he loved me so much, and didn't want me to think he hated me. He told me he wasn't going to leave because he loved me, but I didn't bulge.
