Arthur Has Moved On

Iris' POV

“Kelvin?” I called with furrowed brows, I thought I was imagining things, so I cleaned my ears a couple of times.

“Is that really you?” I slowly got up from the ground, hope, showing in my eyes as I rushed to open the door. I was kind of weak, but hearing him assure me that he was the one behind the door made me stronger.

Not only that, but I gulped, my hands shaking as I opened the door. I had so many questions for him, especially about Arthur, I wanted to know what exactly was happening to him.

My eyes widened when I saw him standing there in flesh, and blood. I couldn't believe my eyes, and I had to touch him to see if this wasn't one of my imaginations.

“Aren't you going to ask me to come in? We have plenty of things to talk about.”

A smile plastered on my lips when I heard that, and I quickly pulled him inside the room, closing the door behind me.
