Lonely

Iris POV

It had been a while since Arthur left me alone in the kitchen, where I had just eaten the lunch he prepared for me. He had told me he wanted to go take a call, but when he didn't return after a few minutes, I was worried about him.

We were discussing so many things that caught interest, and I was eagerly waiting for him to return, but unfortunately, he hadn't.

“Hmm,” I muttered, pressing my lips together. I had gone out with Arthur this morning without my phone, which meant that, my phone was still in Arthur's room where I slept last night.

I sighed, pushing myself off the stood I was sitting as I began to make my way towards his room.

The room was big, and awfully quiet at the same time, making chills go down my spine.

No doubt I was scared, my breathing became uneven, and I closed my eyes to resist the fear.

I swallowed loudly, my throat gulping down the nervousness I was feeling as I felt hot and cold at the same time.
