She’s Missing

Arthur's POV

I groaned, my keys making a jingling sound as I moved, with Iris following behind me. She was excited, it could be seen in how she smiled behind me.

I didn't have any choice, I knew that if I didn't agree to go shopping, she would not have let me be. She would have nagged about it, all day, without letting me be.

I opened the front seat of the car, and when she entered, she smiled, while I frowned, going to sit in the driver's seat.

“At least change the expression on your face, you looked like you fought with a bear,” she teased, still smiling at me.

I could only scoff, buckling my seatbelt as I got ready to start the car.

I asked her where we were to go, which made her snap her head towards me. She was still wearing her contagious smile.

She answered, telling me she wanted to go to the mall.

I furrowed my brows, creased lines showing how confused I was at this moment. She had told me she wanted to go shopping, and now, she was talking about the mall?
