Chap 3: Don't think you're talented

"I'm sorry, we had some baggage problems at the airport!" Damian repeatedly apologized to the person on the phone. "We will try to arrange to arrive as soon as possible."

Ernesta Noah standing next to her, also pressed the number constantly to call.

 "Hi, I'm Ernesta on Liam's team. We had a little problem at the airport, bothering you to move your make-up down to the afternoon. I hope you understand. Thank you!"

Liam did not feel guilty, but he pushed all the responsibility onto Ernesta.

“I will kick you out of the company,” Liam mumbled.

The flight attendant in first class felt so strange that she wanted to turn to her colleague and tell Liam's peculiar behavior. But before she could say a word, she was knocked down by her colleague's comments.

"It's true that my idol, it's time to plane and take advantage of the time to practice dialogue."

In this world, there is always a type of person who is passionate about idols no matter what. Everything idols do always is the most perfect.

As soon as he got from the airport, Liam dialed Damian immediately.

"Alo!!"

"You're here, aren't you? Move to the door!"

Before Liam had time to ask anything, manager Damian answered everything on his behalf. He knew he was late a lot, so he wasn't slow anymore.

As soon as he went out the door, he saw four bodyguards waiting for him. He smiled, satisfied.

The smile on Liam's face immediately disappeared when he saw that the person waiting for him had not only bodyguards but also Ernesta Noah.

"You can do this little thing, don't think you're very talented."

Liam couldn't let Ernesta answer but turned to the make-up chair.

Ernesta knew the job was hard, but she would be determined to do it. Liam's words may have been even harder to hear later than they are now, so if she couldn't stand it now, it would be like she would surrender to him.

Ernesta didn't want to think much, and she had completed the task assigned by Damian's manager, so now she had to report everything to him.

But just as she turned around, she saw manager Damian and star Mabel Reece walking into the waiting room.

Mabel Reece is the most famous actress today, not only beautiful but gentle personality. She is considered a screen angel, and the audience well receives the movies she plays.

The awards that Mabel Reece has achieved are very respectable. Therefore, domestic and foreign film directors and producers want to invite her to act in their films.

Ernesta was in no hurry to report everything to Damian because he was talking to Mabel Reece with great enthusiasm. She huddled slightly in the corner to make way for them to enter the waiting room.

Mabel Reece saw Liam, and she smiled like a flower. She dropped the conversation she was talking to Damian and walked quickly toward Liam.

"Is Liam here already?" Mabel tenderly asked Liam shyly.

Liam's face did not change, and he still kept his stern and unapproachable look.

Damian's smile stiffened a bit. He tried to make himself smile and answered for Liam.

"He was busy wearing make-up so that he couldn't answer Mabel." Damian still had a smile, and he walked up to Liam and Mabel.

"He forgot his things, so he arrived late at the airport so that he couldn't get here until now."

Not only did Mabel not get angry, but on the contrary, she laughed and joked, "What is so important that Liam forgot to bring?"

Damian smiled wryly and didn't answer.

Damian didn't know how to say this correctly. He lied, so now he doesn't know how to answer Mabel.

“Forgot phone.” Liam, who wanted to be silent, also had to answer.

Mabel sat down on the make-up chair next to him and reached out and grabbed Liam's arm, and she nodded in agreement.

"Yes, the phone is an inseparable thing for everyone."

Mabel thought that she would win Liam's heart by saying that, but she never knew that after saying that, she would become a laughing stock for everyone.

Liam pulled away from the arm held by Mabel and said in a cold voice, "It's a broken phone."

Everyone in the room, busy with their hands and feet, couldn't help but feel funny. They all lowered their heads to hide the smile on their lips.

Mabel pretended not to see. She still smiled and said, "Liam is good at joking!"

Liam doesn't want to explain much to someone like Mabel anymore, so he remains silent.

Damian doesn't know what to do with Liam. He has repeatedly reminded and hinted to Liam that Mabel likes him.

But Liam stubbornly said that he did not have feelings for Mabel.

Though Damian knew Mabel wasn't as excellent as she looked. But how many sincere people are there in this entertainment world?
