Starting all over

        Today was a very bad day for Anna, she just lost one of the best stakeholders she had in her company and to think it was all because of one person!

        She got home and stormed to her room angrily. She was so heart broken and sad.

      She slumped on her bed as soon as she got to her room. Tears welled up in her eyes.

         ""Evelyn was right, he is bad luck. Why did Dad bring such a guy to me?"' She sighed and wiped her eyes.

         ""I am better off without a personal assistant. I can do things by myself."" She said and closed her eyes.

        Kelvin had arrived home. Nobody was at home, Alexander had taken Jacky to his house.

        He sighed and opened the door and went inside. He slumped on a couch, he was feeling helpless.

         ""Everything was going just fine."" He whispered.

            ""Why was Evelyn there? Why did she have to come there? I have lost another job because of her."" His voice was choked.

            He sniffed and wiped his eyes.

        ""Maybe I am fated to be like this. Who knows if I am cursed?"" He asked no one in particular.

          Despite him trying to hold back his tears, they races down his cheeks freely. This was too much.

           He had planned Jacky's enrollment into a school, he had planned so many other things and Evelyn came along the way and ruined everything.

        He took his phone and dialled Alexander's number. 

           Alexander answered the phone, ""Hey there Kelvin, what's up?""

          Kelvin sighed, ""I think you should bring Jacky home. There is no need staying there anymore."" He said sadly.

       ""What is wrong Kelvin? Is everything fine?"" Alexander asked concerned.

        He sniffled, ""Nothing is fine Alexander, I lost the job again."" His last words were choked again.

       ""Oh dear, what happened this time?"" He asked surprised.

         ""I can not say everything over the phone. Please bring Jacky over."" He said quietly.

          ""Okay, I will be there as soon as I can."" He said and hung up.

         Kelvin put his phone gently on the couch and palmed his face, fresh tears raced down his cheeks again but he did not bother cleaning them.

           Some minutes later, he heard a knock on the door. He sluggishly stood up and went to the door.

       He opened it and let them in. Jacky hugged Kelvin.

           Alexander bent down to meet Jacky's eyes.

         ""Jacky, your brother and I have a very important discussion. You have to go inside, we will talk to you later, okay?"" He patted his head.

          ""Okay."" Jacky ran inside.

          He stood up and faced Kelvin, ""How did it happen Kelvin? What went wrong?"" He asked keenly.

        ""Evelyn was there."" He sniffed.

       Alexander creased her brows, ""Evelyn? What was she doing there?""

           ""I do not know. I was also surprised to see her there."" He replied.

          ""How did you lose this job because of her?"" He asked again.

        ""She called me a thief in the presence of everyone there."" He rested his head against the couch.

          Alexander gasped in surprise, ""She did that?""

           ""Not only that. Ma'am Anna's best stakeholder.""

            Alexander interrupted him.

             ""Who is ma'am Anna?"" 

       ""She was supposed to be my boss but Evelyn did not allow that happen."" He palmed his face.

            ""So Anna believed Evelyn's lies?"" Alexander asked in disbelief.

          ""Not that, since she lost the best stakeholder in her company, Evelyn called me bad luck. So Anna had no other choice but to believe her."" He exhaled.

          Alexander was surprised, ""This is unbelievable, Evelyn is just as cruel as her mother."" He pressed his lips together.

           ""I am definitely hopeless, I just have a month and some weeks left, Justin will definitely come back and ask for his money to be repaid.""

      ""It is okay Kelvin, everything is going to be fine."" Alexander consoled.

           ""When? When will everything be fine? Everything is definitely not fine Alexander, can you not see that?"" He asked Alexander who had a blank expression on his face.

         ""We just have to hope and pray."" Alexander sighed.

         Kelvin tried so hard to stop the tears from flowing down his face but could not. They just raced down at their will.

          ""I am so scared Alexander, what am I going to do? I had already planned Jacky's enrollment into school. What am I going to tell him? He is due for enrolling in a school."" He sniffled in between his words.

           ""I honestly do not know what to say. It is just so confusing."" He heaved.

          ""Alexander, I am in big trouble."" He held his head.

          Alexander felt so sorry for him.

           ""I wish I could help you Kelvin but I am not sure how. I definitely can not give you a job neither do I know who can give you a job."" He said with a lot pity.

            ""You should not bother yourself. You have yourself to take care of."" Kelvin replied.

            ""I am so sorry Kelvin. Everything will be fine, we just have to hope and pray Kelvin, prayers are very important too."" He said.

         Kelvin could only nod and didn't say anything.

            ""Take it easy Kelvin. Okay?"" Alexander patted his back gently.

           ""Thank you so much Alexander."" Kelvin rested his head on his shoulder.

           ""I am always here for you."" He said softly.

            ""Let me go and prepare lunch for you and Jacky, you must be very hungry."" Alexander said and stood up.

           Kelvin nodded with appreciation, ""Thank you so much, God bless you."" Kelvin said softly.

        Alexander nodded and went to the kitchen.

         There was a loud banging on the door.

         Kelvin was startled, ""He went to the door and opened it. To his dismay he found his landlady standing outside looking at him with a lot of irritation.

          ""Missus Hiller."" He laughed nervously.

""Do not stand there and call my name, where is my house-rent f*e?"" She eyed him angrily.

""Missus Hiller, please give me some more time. I will pay you the house-rent f*e for this month."" He pleaded.

          ""That is what you have been saying for the past one week! When exactly will you pay me my money? I am sick of seeing you here."" She spat in disgust.

        Kelvin gulped, ""Please missus Hiller, just a little more time."" He pleaded.

""That is what you keep saying, your house-rent f*e is over due for payment!"" She yelled.

         ""You can not keep staying in my house while you owe me."" She growled angrily.

            Kelvin was tired and she was adding to his stress.

         ""Since you are not ready to pay, I think it is better you leave."" She said firmly.

       Kelvin gawked in disbelief, ""What?""
