I smiled in the darkness as he kept his hand on the back of my neck as I lifted my head. "Yeah, here we are."
"So, tomorrow, Robert asked me if I wanted to go to the trampoline place in town with him and Jenny. I don't want to be a third wheel with them, so would you want to go with me?" He asks me as he pulls onto the road where my
house is.
"Uh, sure, would you mind picking me
up?"
He shakes his head. "Yeah, I can do that. I'll pick you up around nine with some coffee, sounds alright?"
I was surprised. "You've noticed my addiction to coffee?"
He nods his head as he pulls into my driveway where the lights are still on, which means my parents are still awake and watching TV in the living room where they can see outside. "Well, when you bring it every day, I think everyone notices that you have a slight habit."
I nod my head. "Yeah, maybe."
He takes off his seatbelt before turning to me he bites his lip while he thinks about what to say. "Thank you for coming, it means a lot to me."
I smile at him. "I can't say I'll ever do it again because sports absolutely suck, but you never know. Thank you for inviting me, that means a lot to me".
He leans over to me his handsets on top of my thigh while our lips meet in a soft kiss. I reach over and set my hand on the back of his neck, lightly pulling at some of his hair. I pull away, scared that my parents are looking through the window with my sister to see what's going on.
I look up at him while he plays with a strand of fabric in my jeans that's frayed from the rips. "I should probably get inside."
He nods. "Yeah, probably."
He slides out of his car and I watch as he runs around to open up my door for me. He walks me up to the door where I bring us to the corner where I know my crazy family wouldn't be able to see us. I clear my throat as I grip the hem of his hoodie. "l see you at nine?"
"Sure, nine it is," he whispers before he leans in to give me another kiss that's just as soft as the rest of them. Every single time our lips meet, mine are chapped and his are the softest I've ever felt that always shocks me.
Immediately he pulls away, he brushes back some of my hair that's falling into my
face. A soft smile plays along his lips while he stares down at my face and rubs his thumb against my cheek. I clear my throat and force my eyes away from his. "Drive safely"
"I promise I will. Get some sleep and text me if you need anything," he said. Archie and I had been texting for the past two days because Jenny stole my phone to put his number in it at lunch and ever since then, whenever I was bored, he was the one I went to.
He was kinda dry at texting and I'm assuming it's because he doesn't do it too much, but I was able to get him to open up after a while.
"I will," I tell him before giving him one more kiss and then walking into the house where Jasmine and Mom were standing by the window in random positions that were probably supposed to seem natural.
"Oh, hey, we were just seeing if the moon was visible tonight" Mom said as she scratched her head and went to sit back down on the couch that was covered in pillows and blankets while a movie was paused on the TV.
"Oh, yeah? Is it visible?" I ask, knowing they haven't even noticed how cloudy it was tonight so I could catch them in their lie.
"Yeah, it's huge tonight, didn't you see it while in the car? It's so beautiful, isn't it?" Jasmine said as she went over to sit down next to Mom who was hugging a pillow to her chest.
"Nice try, you can't see the moon tonight, so were you guys just being creepy and staring at me or what?" I ask and they share looks before Mom opens her mouth to say something until my sister opens hers.
"Do you have a boyfriend?" She blurts out with a huge smile on her face, hoping that I'll say yes, even though I'm honestly not sure. He never officially asked me, but he also never said we weren't, so I don't know what to think. I believe that since it's his first relationship with a guy he would want to ask before we do anything too crazy, so guess not?
"I don't think so, but probably soon. His name's Archie, I told them as I sat down on the leather loveseat and pulled a blanket over me since I was cold again from standing outside.
"Aw!" Mom said as she placed a hand over her chest as she had a big smile on her face. "When do we get to officially meet him?"
I sigh. "He's picking me up in the morning to go hang out with our friends at the trampoline place we passed when we went to dinner, so maybe you'll meet him then, but don't hope for anything."
"Aw!" Jasmine and my mom said. Ever since I came out, my mom had asked about every single guy I hang out with because she was hoping I had finally found someone that was actually gay or whatever and wasn't just hanging out with me for a fuck. While that was what my mom and sister were like, I noticed the way my dad sat on the couch with his phone in his hand as he tried to ignore this conversation as he always did when my sexuality came up.
I roll my eyes at my family's ridiculousness before standing up.
Alright, I'm going to take a shower and go to sleep. I'll see you all in the morning."
They say goodnight while they press play on their movie as I make my way up the stairs to the bathroom where I turn on the water to heat up. I turn around to look in the mirror at my lips which are severely chapped and probably uncomfortable for Archie, even though he never said anything about it.
I sigh as I run a hand through my hair and just hope that I don't do anything stupid tomorrow that could ruin my new relationship type thing.
When I wake up, I'm so tired that I don't
even want to move from my comfortable spot under my warm blanket. I forced myself up after a few minutes of scrolling through my phone and texting Jenny back because she asked if I was coming with today. I go to my closet and pick out some army green joggers, a dark blue crewneck
with white stripes, and some white Converse.
I realize l have some extra time, so l go
downstairs to sit at the table with Jasmine who's texting someone on her phone and I'm assuming it's Emilie from the way she laughs at whatever's said. I sit there for a few minutes with my sister who's telling me about how she already doesn't understand
something in her math class.
She stops when she hears Mom talking
to someone and we look at each other
confused because Dad and our grandparents weren't home, so we don't know who it could be. When I hear the deep voice, I immediately know who it is and I shoot up from the chair as does Jasmine, who realizes the same thing.
She pushes me back, so she gets there
First, I almost fall to the floor, but I catch myself on the wall as I try to grab her and pull her back so my mom and sister don't embarrass me in front of Archie. Jasmine and I race to the front door for who will get there first.
She does by how tiny she is and how fast. Once we do, Archie stares up at me with a smile while he holds a cup from Starbucks in his hand with my mother standing in front of him. He's wearing black joggers, a checkered hoodie, and black Vans and he's pulling his hair back so it's not hanging in his face.
"Hey, we should go," I said, rushing over to him to pull on his hand, trying to leave as quickly as possible to not let my mom and sister embarrass me too much.
Archie nods, sticking his hand out to shake her hand. "It was a nice meeting….. Mrs Diego. I promise I make him feel comfortable and safe.
Mom reaches over and kisses my cheek before nodding to Archie who gives her another soft smile while Jasmine stands there just watching it all play out. "It was great meeting you, dear"
I glare at my Mom as Archie walks down
the porch steps and she gives me an innocent smile before I close the door so they can't watch us walk out like some creepers. When I get to Archie's side, he hands me the iced coffee cup.
"Here's your iced white chocolate mocha with almond milk," he says, telling me the order I had texted him last night since he asked what I wanted when he went to Starbucks this morning.
"Thank you," l said as we got into his car and started the journey into town where Jenny and Robert already were because they decided to go for breakfast beforehand.
"How'd you sleep?" He asked me as he turned down the radio to be able to hear my answer while he held the white coffee cup against his thigh that was probably still hot to drink at this point.
"I slept well, but I'm still so tired," I tell him as I set the back of my head on the headrest and get comfortable in my seat as Archie looks over to me.
For the rest of the ride, we just sit in comfortable silence as the radio a hum in our ears while we sip on our coffee to help us wake up.
We get to the place and sign in before we sit on the benches to wait for our turn since the place is somewhat busy on this cold Saturday morning. Archie and Robert sit on an open bench a little bit away from Jenny and me.
"How was the making out?" Jenny asked me with a small smirk
.
I chuckle, shaking my head. "I'm going to assume Archie told you about it."
"Yep, now spill it. How was it?" She asks as I play with the bracelet that's on my wrist while I stare out at the people jumping on the trampolines on the floor with their friends and families.
I look over at the other boys to see that they're deep in conversation about something that looks pretty serious.
"It was good, but I'm not talking with this about you," I say with a chuckle. She links her arm with me while we stare out at the rest of the people in the room.
"Well, we are all going to a party at my house later tonight. Some of the football players are gonna be there and the whole dance team will be there. Want to come?" She asked.
"Yeah, sure. That sounds good to me, I'm going to have a good time with Archie.
"I tell her and we all stand up when they call our group up and walk into the room where we were instructed to take our shoes off. Archie walks over to me as I'm putting my shoes in a locker to show off my maroon and purple mismatching socks."So there's a party at Jenny's?" I ask him as I wait for him to put his shoes with mine. He looks up at me with a confused look before it clears up and he shakes his hand."Oh, yeah, I'm not going because there'll be alcohol and that's just not something I want to deal with, but if you're going, maybe I can reconsider or we could go to my dad's apartment where we would be alone and we could just watch movies all night," he says, giving me the option."I think I'll take the latter, '' I told him, making him smile. I immediately start sweating from my palms because of the nerves getting to me about what could happen tonight.Once we got onto the trampolines, we started to have fun and it made up for us having to get up early on the weekend. Jenny c
I walk back into the living room to sit on the couch to wait for him. I get comfortable before pulling a blanket over me and watching the TV where Chandler is talking to his friends about how he can't figure out which sister of Archie's he slept with. After a few minutes, Archie walks out in some black sweatpants and a t-shirt with a picture of the Statue of Liberty on it. We decide to order Chinese food and while we wait for it to arrive, I lay with my head on his shoulder while we both watch the show. After about 15 minutes of comfortable silence, except for the TV, I look up at him with a soft smile and he does the same. I lean forward and connect our lips in a soft kiss before it starts to become rough when he tangles his hand in my hair and rubs his tongue withmine.I set my hand on his thigh without even thinking about the implications he could make from it. I sit up a bit without disconnecting our lips and wrap my arms around his neck as his free hand is placed on my lower ba
"What were you like as a kid?" He asked, surprising me because it was super random and not something I ever expected him to ask me."Uh, I was quiet, shy. I was a closet gay kid that thought he was wrong for how I was feeling, so I kinda just pushed all emotion away until it overcame me,""You knew you were gay when you were young?" He asked."Yeah, I guess I always kinda knew how I felt, but I suppressed it because of my dad. He would get drunk with his Work buddies sometimes and I remember them calling the gay guys in the office faggots and whatnot, so I didn't come out until we sat in the car after a doctor's appointment and he was having the talk' with me""Why'd you come out then?"I looked up at him as he was invested in my story. "He told me that it was okay to be whatever I was because he knew I wasn't straight by my distaste for girls, except as friends. He told me that whatever I was feeling, I should let it out, so I did. I started crying and just told him. I could tell he
"That's not the problem, he can change who he thinks I am."He sighs. "You gotta tell him or he'll know something's wrong when the full moon comes around and you avoid him just like before.""I know, I know. I'll do it soon, maybe tonight"' I say as I remember that we're having dinner tonight at the apartmentsince he finally was able to hang out with me since he got in trouble with his mom a few days ago for spending the night with me when he said that he would be at Jenny's place."I want all the details when you're done. Not for me, but for Jenny." "Okay," I said with a chuckle. There was a knock on the door as I was putting the tortellini on the plates that I had just finished cooking. I ran over to open the door to see my beautiful boyfriend standing there in some black joggers, a white t-shirt along with a light grey cardigan that went down past his ass, and a pair of slides with black socks."Hi, beautiful"' I tell him as I pull him into a hug and give him a quick kiss before
"Our school knows about us because we came out as a couple, but not everyone in the pack knows. They know not to tell other pack members about my life, so when we tell the pack, together, then they will be protecting you because you'll be their alpha as well" I tell him, bringing back memories of when a few weeks ago, we proudly walked through the school with ourhands together to show off my first and only relationship with a boy that I truly cared about.l could see how sleepy he looked, probably from all the stress that I'd put him through today. I held him close to me as my fingers ran through his hair as he sighed in contentment while he snuggled close to my chest. It didn't take too long for him to pass out while I thought about all the possibilities of what could have happened tonight and I had to force those thoughts out of my head before trying to fall asleep as well.I woke up to feel light kisses being pressed to my neck, emitting sparks onto my skin. I opened my eyes as I
"Meeting your parents, going to the pack house, any of it?" He asks and I sit up on my elbow to look down at him with a small smile."It's okay to be nervous, but we're going to go there, get out of the car, and immediately go to the quarter house. The only people you'll be meeting are my parents and they already love you from all the stuff I've told them about you".I tell him and his lips perk up into a smile."What have you said about me?" He asks and I lean down to kiss his cheek."That you're the most beautiful person I've ever met. You're an amazing dancer. You're incredibly intelligent,You have the most gorgeous blue-green eyes in the world. Your sister is a very talented artist, they loved the picture of us that Jasmine drew based on the picture of us at the fair a few weeks ago," I tell him and he perks up like he always does when I talk about his sister.I can tell that he truly cares about her ever since I saw him the first day checking his phone every few minutes to make s
I look up at the sounds of footsteps to see Robert running in to pull his girlfriend off of him. Archie was giving her a soft, sad look as her words caught up with him and he looked down at the ground to find the proper words to say to her.I'm sorry, I am. We stayed up to talk so l could make sure he wasn't confused about anything and I just didn't think to text you guys.""We were here worried and you didn't even care," Jenny whispered as angry tears started to fall down her face as Robert kept his arm wrapped around her waist."I'm here, Melissa, we're here. Everything's okay and I'm so sorry, I should've been thinking but it was a high-stress situation and the thought slipped my mind" Archie said as he walked to her to hug her as she tried to compose herself.Robert turned towards me and gave me a half hug. "Hey, sorry about all the lying the past couple of months. It's just something we had to do."I nod my head, smiling at him. "No, it's okay, l completely understand."I heard mo
.I ask, just curious as to how much an alpha would make in this economy. He thinks for a second before reaching out to take my hand. "The reigning alpha, meaning me, makes about 9,000 dollars each month. The reigning beta, meaning Robert, makes about 6,000 while my parents make about 3,000 since they turned over the position along with Robert's parents."So you are rich?" He chuckles. "You could say that, but I don't. I pay for all the groceries in the house, any repairs that we might need, car insurance, and anything else that might happen.""So you run this house?" He shakes his head. "Not, I just pay for most of the stuff since I do make the most. My mom runs this house with cleaning, cooking, decorations, anything like that."Do you have to pay for packing stuff?"No, we have budgets for that. We have an annual budget that if we go past, then it'll come out of our pockets if we need anything. We have other budgets, but that can get boring so we don't have to talk about that" he t
I was woken up by my husband , but l turned onto my stomach, not wanting to deal with his hard dick since that was usually what he woke me up for in the middle of the night. I was shaken again, still ignoring it since he usually gave up eventually. "Henry, I know you don't want to get up, but Jelilah just called and she's in labor so we gotta go to the hospital."I immediately shoot up in bed as he tells me the news and I'm instantly way too excited now that I knew that my baby boy is coming today in possibly just a few hours. Archie chuckles, throwing a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt at me as he changed into real people clothes for the first time in a few days since we've just been relaxing before we were elbows deep in diapers and formula. "Is she already at the hospital?"He nods his head. "Yeah, it took awhile for me to answer my phone because I was dead asleep. She's been there for about an hour already." I nod my head, way too excited to even be mad that she's already been th
"Welcome, family, friends, pack members, and loved ones. We gather here today to celebrate the wedding of Archie and Henry. You have come here to share in this formal commitment they make to one another, to offer your love and support to this union, and to allow Archie and Henry to start their married life together surrounded by the people dearest and most important to them." I tighten my grip on Archie's hand as tears form in my eyes, making his eyes soften when he sees that I'm about to start crying. A single tear falls and he reaches up, using the pad of his thumb to wipe it away, making some of the pack members in the back awe."Marriage is perhaps the greatest and most challenging adventure of human relationships. No ceremony can create your marriage; only you can do that through love and patience; dedication and perseverance; talking and listening, helping and supporting and believing in each other; tenderness and laughter;through learning to forgive, learning to appreciate you
I smile, holding the letter to my chest as my eyes start to get watery again at the idea that I'm marrying my best friend in, like, two hours. I hid the paper on the bedside table before starting to get dressed. I put on the dark grey pants first, loving how slimming they made me look. I slip on the white button-up shirt before tying the maroon tie around my neck, securing it with a silver tie clip that my dad wore when he married my mom.I decided to do the whole "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue" thing because it's supposed to bring good luck. My dad's tie clip was then something borrowed, then something old was a book that Elder Collins will be using for the ceremony that the elders have been using for centuries, which changed every few years to accommodate the change of time. The new thing was me changing my last name to Brooks-Henry since I didn't think I could part with my last name. My mom said that I had to incorporate the name somewhere, so the
"Everyone's still out there"' he forces out it's okay, they'll figure out we're busy, l tell him. I keep placing soft kisses on his neck before getting rougher and starting to suck on the sensitive skin, making him buck his hips up to clash with mine.He surprises me by pushing me off of him and shooting up to grab his backpack. He pulls out the clear bottle before throwing it at me while he focuses on pulling his pants off.I lay on my back, pulling my pants down to let my dick out before rubbing some of the liquid onto it. Henry crawls back on the bed before straddling me to quickly lower himself on me, letting out a moan. I reach up, covering his mouth since we were one door away from our families. He leans back, setting his hands on my knees as he lifts his hips before coming back down on my cock. My head rolls back as the pleasure consumes me as he builds up a rhythm to satisfy both of us. I make sure to keep my hand on his mouth because I would be so embarrassed if someone heard
"Henry, I'm so sorry, but we have to go, Lila whispers, running her hands over my shoulders. I hated my thoughts at the moment because all I could think was that Jenny and Lila had so much time with their mates and I felt like I hadn't had any. I just wanted to go away somewhere and hold him in my arms forever. I wanted to live my life with him by my side where something like this would never, ever happen. I wanted to grow old, watching our kids shift into little wolves for the first time. I just wanted him forever. I felt myself being pulled off of Archie and I couldn't hold in my breakdown anymore.I turned in Lila's arms, crying into her shoulder. She holds me tight as I hear footsteps behind me, telling me that they are leaving. Jenny set her hand on my back, ushering us out of the house and into the car so we could go to the hotel. I sat in the back with Jenny, laying my head in her lap as I held her hand in silent support.Once we got to the hotel, we went up to the room since m
I look at my parents who were sitting with Lila and Austin to help them get their shoes on and I'm immediately hit with a wave of gratitude that they are good friends now. I don't know what I would've done if my parents didn't like them because these memories we're all creating together really were the best for me. Jasmine comes to stand next to me, taking me out of my trance to pull me towards the ice."You ready?" I ask Joey, who looks pretty nervous to take his first step."Yeah, he says and I make sure Robert's okay with Jenny since he hasn't ever been skating before either and would need to learn a few things before he got too confident. I grab hold of the side before taking a step, gliding with ease against the ice. Archie's next and when his foot hits the ground, his knee buckles and he almost trips, caught by my sister and I. We laugh, helping him to stand on the ice so he can get used to the feeling.I intertwine my fingers with him in a tight grip as Jasmine does the same s
I know he's just trying to keep everyone calm, but I can tell that he's also trying to get the best out of the time we have in case something bad happens during the rogue raid. I look around to see everyone nodding, agreeing with what he was saying. Lila stands up, pulling her shirt down. "That sounds like a wonderful idea. Let's leave in two hours, so everyone go get ready, maybe talk through some things if you need, and then we'll get going."We all get up to go to our own rooms and I just hope that Robert and Jenny work through their problems because I can tell how much stress all of this is putting on their relationship. When Archie and l's bedroom door closes, he turns to me, grabbing the collar of my shirt to pull me into a passionate kiss. I take a step backwards as he pushes me against the wall and I can feel the need in his actions as he grabs my waist. I place my hands on his chest, lightly pushing him away.As soon as I look at his face, I see the tears falling down his fac
I let out a yell before my head goes under. I feel Archie's hands slide up my legs as he rushes to the surface to get a breath of air. I come back up too before slapping his arm as he lets out a laugh before looking at me. What was that for?"He wraps his arm around my waist, kissing my cheek. "Just thought it would be funny, which it was." We all relax in the water, swimming around while we wait for the rest of our friends to show up. I notice the people in the water are looking at us while whispering something that I couldn't quite hear.I was taken out of my trance when Archie went back underwater before swimming underneath me to scoop me onto his shoulders. When he stands up, I yelp, grabbing a hold of his hands that are on my thighs to balance myself."Archie, no!" I scream as he moves around to make sure I don't fall over. His hands slide down to hold onto my ankles while mine tangles in his hair, lightly pulling on the wet strands. I notice that Jenny's on her boyfriend's back w
"l always assumed that you and Robert would get engaged before Archie and I. I mean, you two have been together forever, it just makes sense. Do you think he'll propose soon?" She lets out a sigh. "I don't know. I'm hoping that seeing his best friend get engaged will resonate with him, but I don't know if it will. We've talked about it before and he seems open to the idea, but I think our age has a lot to do with why he hasn't popped thequestion. He just thinks we're so young.""But come on, you two already know you'll be together forever since you're mates, so you're going to get engaged eventually, why not just do it now? I mean, it's his choice, but if you know that you'll be with someone forever, don't you want to just promise that to each other as soon as possible?"Jenny nods her head. "Yeah, that's my thinking too, but he just doesn't think that's a good idea. He still wants to wait, most likely, which is alright, I guess. It just means I'll have to be open to the idea of wai
