Chapter 3.
Bella's pov.I can't just believe why he kept his intentions from me when he will still have to reveal them. I can boldly recall the smile on his face as he left my room that day and for days now he has not shown up. How can I even notice he has not shown up around this area? Am supposed to be stuck to my escape plan and here I am realizing he is away for some time now.His workers had taken over with getting me my food and providing my other necessities, I can't say I miss him as I am not supposed to but there is this feeling in me that something seems different. As usual since the last time it was time for me to have my walk around the vicinity but this time I have the chance to only go up to the kitchen. Getting there I decided to cook something for myself, since I have less than an hour I decided to do a light dish. I can feel as if someone has his eyes fixated on me, I looked around but no one was there. After the cooking, I sat down at the table and ate then I heard a familiar voice behind me. "Hope you have mine prepared with that," the voice said. I turned around and realized it was no other than Mat. I hated myself for the smile on my face as I saw him, "yeah I have been away for some reason" he said as if he knew the particular question that I have in my heart for days.I smiled and then I changed my expression when I remembered that he is my very abductor. He realized this but didn't comment about it, he walked to the kitchen and got something for himself, then he walked out of the room but not without saying, "I got you some new clothes pick one and meet me in the garage soon""Could this be that he is finally releasing me?" I asked myself, a bright happy smile surfaced on my face, like one I have never had in a century. I rushed to the room and checked through the dress he bought for me, they all looked nice and super elegant. Took a lot of time to decide which of them I will like to go for.On getting to the garage I met him there with some of his men and five super exotic Lamborghini Aventador SV prepared and two minivans. I looked around if there is any other thing we will be conveying, probably something of high value and yet forbidden. My heart skipped a beat at the thought of Mat being a drug dealer and him needing a young girl to traffic his drugs. But someone like me with my father's reputation can't probably be the target of trafficking, "can you please step into the car" he said calling me back to reality. I faked a smile and stepped into the Lamborghini and so did his men. They all got into their various vehicles and then we moved out of the area to an unknown location.Although the journey took some hours, I noticed that there was no other car on our route, "could it be that am not in my busy same country again and am being transported somewhere else?" I asked myself but I can not provide an answer to the question at the moment. Finally, after some hours we got to our destination, a deserted yet functioning pack, I was surprised that this is where we are coming at. I ran on the fields and started the fun. I approached the deserted park with Mat holding my hand as the silence around us added to the thrill. The big trees blocked off the sun, which caused the grass to take on mottled patterns. We had a sensation of calmness as if we were the only people in the park. The chains on the abandoned swings were hanging passively, waiting for someone to activate them as we passed past them. Mat gave my hand a tight grip as his eager eyes glistened. We moved in the direction of a welcoming green field where a picnic blanket was laid up. Mat reached into the picnic basket, pulling out an assortment of delicious snacks and drinks. As we ate our picnic meal, our words gently floated in the air. The absence of outer voices allowed us to dive more deeply into our thoughts and fantasies. The soothing sounds of birds chirping and rustling leaves accompanied our quiet moments. After eating, we decided to stay and explore the park some more. Hand in hand, we went off on a trek, discovering uncharted avenues and nooks. Mat took the initiative as we probed further into the park's appeal, and his enthusiasm was contagious. We happened across a tiny lake, the still water of which reflected the golden tones of the sunset sun. Mat gave me a sneaky glare before suggesting a haphazard game of stone skipping. We picked up flat, smooth stones and squatted along the lake's side, trying to skip them over the water. As our stones skimmed and danced across the lake's surface, laughter resounded across the area. We were driven to find the ideal skipping stone by our competitive nature. Our laughing entwined, forming a song that only we could hear, and the happiness of the moment was real. As evening fell, we made our way back to the picnic blanket where we reclined side by side and gazed up at the starry sky. We held hands and enjoyed every precious moment we had together. The background noises of the park gave us the impression that we were the main characters in our own love story. In that rented park, the two of us alone built a haven of love and intimacy. The world appeared to go on forever, and our hearts were full of pleasure. With the assurance that we would always remember our shared experience, we came closer as we gazed at the sparkling stars above us.I looked at the Mat before me, he had really changed and it seems he is getting more emotional today. Wait am also getting emotional, am being abducted, and am getting emotional whole still in captive? This is bad and bad.I looked at Mat and he seems to be looking at something in the distance, I looked in his direction but there was nothing there. "This is the last time this will be happening," he said to me and I can't seem to help but notice that his voice had changed and he had a stern look on his face one that I have never sighted before."What's that? What's wrong and what is that supposed to mean?" I asked her."You want to know the reason why I abducted you in the first place right?" He asked me and I nods in response."You will get to know that in Abit," he said and then he walked away from me. I was torn between standing at the position or walking behind him but of course, I followed him. We got to an area in the pack that seems to have been redesigned into a house. He walked in and I followed in, Inside the house were all his men that had come with us, as soon as I got in one of them escorted me towards a chair, and as soon as am situated Mat began to reveal his true self. His men had me handcuffed and they all have a strange look on them."You are going to make a call to your father and help me make my demand," he said to me with no courtesy as he had before. I was stunned at how he could switch his life from being a sweet being to a dark being."What do you mean? You kidnapped me for the money!?" I asked."Who said anything about money here?" He asked me."Then what's your demand?" I asked."Your father knew too much but that is not the problem, I need him to bear a witness at the court of law but the witness will be in my favor then I set you free," he said to me."Damnit. I refuse to be part of this" I said.Mat looked at me and then starts walking slowly, "I guess I have no other choice then" he said. And then a wicked smIle appeared on his face, I knew he had something big coming up. "What's going on?" I asked. He looked at me and replied, "Nothing...just preparing against your funeral...;""My funeral?" I asked."Yeah that is the only option out of here. You are my tool and if a tool of !ine is not useful. I don't keep them. I burn them" he rep!used to me."Wow!" I said as speechless as I am."Brace yourself, you have made your choice" he said as he brought out a gun and pointed it to me….I closed my eyes and the memories made flashes before me. Will this be my end or the beginning of a new page?"Bammm!!…"The sound of the gun sounds..Chapter 4Bella's pov.The sound of a gunshot reverberates through the room, and despite my terror, I muster all my strength to hide it.Mat stands confidently in the centre of the room, a wicked smile dancing on his lips. "It's not quite the right moment to bring things to a close, Bella. I have plans that require you to stay alive... for now, at least," he announces. My voice oozes with defiance as I respond, "Do whatever you want, but remember this: I won't let myself become a weapon against my father." Mat's eyes sweep over the room, his gaze fixating on his comrades. A mischievous grin forms before he starts moving towards me, stumbling like a drunkard. When he reaches me, he kneels down, pointing his gun."Look around, sweetheart, and grasp the reality of our predicament. You're just a pawn in this game. Don't try to be the fierce tiger; it won't end well for you. There are consequences you're not prepared to face right now. Relax and go with the flow. Now that you understand wh
Chapter 5.Mat's Pov.As I stood there with a sly smile spread across my face, I couldn't help but relish the fear that emanated from her. Bella, trembling before me, seemed to be teetering on the edge of panic, and I must admit, I rather enjoyed it. There's a certain power in instilling fear, in watching someone's composure crumble like a sandcastle against the relentless tide.I leaned in, lowering my voice to a hushed, sinister tone, and asked, "Why so scared, Bella?" My words hung in the air, a tangible threat that seemed to make her shiver even more. But instead of responding, she chose to turn and walk away. Perhaps she thought distance would shield her from the invisible web I was weaving around her, but little did she know that in this game, there was no escape.Behind her, Vito, my ever-loyal companion, flashed a disapproving smile and chimed in, "Mat, you should stop scaring the poor girl." He always had a sense of compassion that I often found tedious. In his eyes, fear was
Chapter 6.Bella's Pov.I couldn't escape the persistent feeling of concern that had crept deep inside me as I received the vehicle key from Mat. I walked out of the room, gripping it tightly in my palm, my heart pounding with a mix of worry and optimism. The car was ready for me, its sleek bodywork shimmering in the dim light. It was a stark contrast to the ominous surroundings I had just left. When I arrived and stood next to the vehicle, though, a sense of foreboding washed over me.Mat leaned casually on the car's hood, his wicked grin on his face. His looks did not happen by coincidence. I decided that he was guiding events, and his motivations were obscure. He lured me in with a gesture that was both kind and scary. His grin acted as a cover, concealing the sincerity of his goals. Without saying anything, he strolled around to the driver's side and climbed into the seat. As I saw him sit there so carelessly, my spine tingled. He emanated authority, and I couldn't help but feel l

It has always been my aim to be at the top of the class but who cares about that but me alone?I fished out my phone from my bag and decided to call an Uber but then I halted midway; this could be the perfect time to have the feeling of freedom under the blue moon that illuminated the street reminding me that once it still shines it will always be my companion. Regardless of that, it will only take me a few minutes before I get home, why call for an Uber within a couple of minutes just a few differences in the time?I looked around the area and realized that the space seems empty and quiet; my perfect preference for atmosphere: peaceful and quiet. Chapter 2.Bella's pov.I woke up only to meet the strange environment pictures in my head, accompanied by this terrible headache and tones of echoes ringing in my head. Using my hands to support my head, I looked around. I tried to sit up on the bed but then I discovered my hands and had been tired up to some limitations. Blinking several times, I tried to remember what had happened, but my mind was blank.I took a deep breath and tried to sit up, but my hands and feet were tied to the bed frame. Panic set in as I struggled to free myself. The door creaked open, and a man walked in, his face obscured by the shadows."Well, well, well, Sleeping Beauty is finally awake," the man said in a smooth, silky voice."Who are you, and why am I here?" I demanded, trying to keep my voice steady. The man chuckled. He knew I had forgotten the entire scene. That was what he wanted because he didn't want to live with the guilt of attacking me. "Now, now, no need to be rude. I'm Mat, and you, my dear
