Chapter 69 (Four Years Later)

Valeria POV

“When will they be arriving?” I asked, staring at Collin.

“They are on their way, Luna,” he said, and I nodded my head, looking at the papers.

“Is there anything else you need?” he asked. I shook my head no, and he bowed his head, leaving. I continued with my paperwork, checking the names of the pack arriving. Houses are provided for them; they will be able to settle in this month. The door burst open, and I looked up, breathing out.

“How many times do I tell you both not to barge in when I’m working?” I asked, staring at the brown and blue-eyed boys. They smile sheepishly, walking in like they own the room.

“What are you doing, mom?” Egan asked me, finding his way to my laps, and Daus did the same thing, and I sighed, carrying the both of them up. They are not little pups anymore, but just loved to be carried.
