I thought he wouldn't come because it's already late. “Okay, I’m coming,” I told our maid and left to the living room to meet Calvin.

"I was suppose to come here earlier. A lot of important things came up and I had to take care of it,” He told me even though I wasn’t asking.

"Do you want anything to eat?" I asked him, seeing that the maids haven’t served him anything yet.

"No need, I just ate. Are you okay?" He asked worriedly, even though he looked more anxious than I do.
