Ella curiously leaned over. “What's wrong, Liam?”

Liam pointed at the red dot on the screen. “I thought he would collect the hair and do the DNA testing in Germany, so I would have the chance to hack in and alter the final result."

"But he mailed the hair directly back to New York, which makes it difficult for me to interfere from a distance.”

Ella widened her eyes in confusion. “DNA testing?”

“Yes."

Liam patiently explained. “I should have figured it out earlier. That man deliberately took us to get our hair cut and then stole the hair for testing. The only person with a motive to do this is the man who betrayed our mother.”

“Are you saying we've been found out?”

“It's possible.”

A hint of annoyance appeared on Liam's face. “If I had known he was sending the hair back to New York, I wouldn't have let him take it.”
