He Is Just Sick

We were starting to notice the wintry weather and my sister and mother were gone for a good two weeks. It was the very first day in December and we were making preparations for the stockpiling of hot chocolate ingredients, board games, and winter craft supplies to avoid succumbing to that thing known as "cabin fever."

I loved winter because winter offered an exciting smorgasbord of activities in the great outdoors such as sledding, skiing, snowball fighting and building snowmen. Although, I hardly took part in any of those things mentioned, personally, because winter made me shiver a lot. It was morning and it was not even snowing but the mere thought of it all made my teeth chatter.

"Hayley, gosh are you alright?" Lance said, returning to me on the bed. I think he went to pee or something.
