His Sarcastic Smile

Pagdating namin sa mansion ay dumiretso ako sa aking kwarto upang maligo ulit at makapagbihis. While Alexander went towards the dining room when he heard Sofia's mischievous laugh.

I wore a casual yellow dress and let my hair fall. Most of my clothes are dresses. Good for me since yun din naman ang nakasanayan kong suotin mula pagkabata. Megan and Elle are also fans of dresses. Every time they went shopping, they always brought something for me.

I decided to leave my room. Kakabukas ko palang ng aking pintuan ng bumungad sa akin ang mukha ni Megan at Elle. They were smiling from ear to ear.

“Helena! Finally, let's go upstairs!” masayang sabi ni Megan sabay hila sa akin paakyat sa kanyang kwarto.

Pagpasok namin sa kwarto ni Megan ay maraming damit ang nakalabas at nakalagay sa kanyang higaan. There are also brand new make-ups.

“Please be my model Helena!” Megan in her nagpapaawa face.

“All of our make-ups are hypoallergenic.” Nakangisi namang dagdag ni Elle.

Wala na akong nagawa kundi pumayag. Wala rin naman akong gagawin today. As much as I want to help in households chores, the house helps won't let me. They said that I should enjoy my summer break. Marami naman daw sila. I really want to help but they insisted.

Alexander's parents offered to pay my school's tuition but grandma declined it modestly. Their help in letting us stay in their mansion is already enough for the both of us.

Megan and Elle yell in happiness. Then, Megan started doing her things. She started by putting my hair up. Then, she put moisturizer on my face. Si Elle naman ay abala sa pagpili ng damit kung ano ang una kong susuotin.

“You are really pretty Helena. You're a lot prettier than the girls in our class. Right, Elle?”

“Yup! She's a lot better than them, Meg.” Elle seconded. I stayed quiet since I didn't know what to say.

Meg instructed me to close my eyes so I did. It's almost two hours before she finished her crafts. Elle helped her to style my hair since she couldn't decide. They ended in a half braid ponytail style.

“Perfect!” Meg exclaimed.

“And it's my turn!” Elle excitedly says, “You wear this first, Helena.” She said as she handed me a black spaghetti strap dress with a long slit on the side.

They excitedly dragged me to Meg's changing room and let me in while they waited outside the door. After a few minutes I went out to show it to them.

“Wow! Fabulous!” Tili ni Elle. Meg positioned me in her paparazzi wall and let me do some poses for the photograph.

“Next, the red dress!” Nasisiyahang sabi ni Elle.

“Don't worry Helena, when I established a boutique after I graduated, you're free to get any kind of dress you want to wear at a party you're going to attend or even at your wedding someday, I'm the one who will make your wedding dress. For free!” She said as she gave me a playful wink.

“I'm going to remember that, Megan.” I replied as I gave her a hearty laugh.

“Stunning!” Elle commented when she saw me wearing the red one. It's a satin cowl neckline red dress.

Meg started her photoshoot giving me tips on how to pose.

Five more different types of dress I wore when someone knocked. This time, I am wearing a white long bodycon dress with a high slit.

“Who's that?” Elle shouted. The knock on the door continued without answering her.

“Open it Elle, it's annoying.” Meg said.

“You better not be Sofia or else.” Elle murmured before she went to the door and opened it.

“Hi dear sister. Where's Hera?” I heard Alexander's voice.

“What? Again? You stole her from us yesterday, Zander.” Elle in her annoyed voice. But Alexander is Alexander. He went inside the room.

“Whoa! What happened here?” He asked after seeing all the dresses that scattered on the carpeted floor. Until her gaze went up to me. He stared darkly at me. “What did you do to her?” He asked in his serious voice. Meg momentarily stopped at what she's doing and turned to Alexander while Elle didn't move in her place.

“We're dressing her up. Isn't it obvious?” Meg answered.

“She's not a fucking doll.” malutong niyang Mura.

“Your mouth, Alexander!” Sita ni Meg. Alexander only raised his eyebrow at her.

“You better stop this or I will burn all these dresses and even all your makeup kits.” He warned.

“You're just overreacting! We didn't do any harm to her.” Elle said.

“Oh, really?” He asked sarcastically.

“Fine!” Meg surrenders after seeing Alexander's serious face. “We're just dressing her up.” Meg murmured.

Meg motioned her hand for me to change so I went to the changing room to wear my yellow dress back. Paglabas ko, nandun pa rin si Zander.

“What? You're gonna stay here?” May irita sa boses na tanong ni Megan sa kanya.

“Remove the things you put on her face, first.” He instructed.

“That's make-up, caveman. And it's hypoallergenic!” Segunda ni Elle.

“I don't give a fuck on that's whatnot. Remove it from her face before I do something you won't like, my dear sisters.” He said while giving them a sarcastic smile.

“It's fine. I can remove it on my own.” I said.

“Oh?” Sabi niya sabay sulyap sa akin.

“Fine!” Meg stood up and went to me. She then put me on a chair and started removing my makeup by using makeup remover wipes.

“He's such a killjoy.” She murmured enough for me to hear it. I only chuckled. “I bet he likes you so much that he thinks we're making fun of you.” She whispered after she removed my makeup.

“I don't think so.” I replied but she only gave me a teasing smile.

“Done?” Zander asked impatiently.

“Yes, your highness.” Meg said.

Alexander looked at me first before he dragged me outside. I waved at Megan and Elle saying my goodbye. They just waved the camera and grinned.
