Moments with the Mischief

Dalawang oras kami naglagi sa beach bago napagpasiyahang umalis. Bago dumiretso sa ranch ay dumaan muna kami sa sa sentro ng bayan at pumasok sa isang resto upang kumain ng lunch.

"Anong gusto mo?" He asked after giving me the menu.

"A salad and a strawberry shake." Sagot ko.

"And?" He prompted.

"That's all."

"Are you kidding me, Kiera? Mabubusog ka ba niyan?" Tanong niya.

"Ako na nga lang ang o-order. That's why wala ka man lang taba sa katawan. Ang payat mo. Para ka pa ring ten years old instead of seventeen." walang preno niyang sabi.

”Fine, your highness. Ikaw ang masusunod.” Sagot ko.

“You should eat a lot of meat.” Sabi niya habang tumitingin pa rin sa menu.

“Yes po, master Alexander. Ikaw po ang bahala.” Sagot ko ulit. My chuckle burst out when he finally raised her head to look at me. He then glared at me after realizing my response to him.

“Just kidding!” Agad kong sabi sa kanya.

“Kakabalik ko lang pero inaasar mo na ako? Talaga, Hera?” Tanong niya na nakataas ang kilay. I bit my lower lip to stop myself from chuckling and held his hand.

“You called me payat, Zander.” Sagot ko sa kanya.

“Well, it's true though.” Sagot niya. I looked at my body and pouted.

“Hindi ako payat, Alexander. Sakto lang ang BMI ko.” Nakaingos kong sabi sa kanya sabay bitaw sa kanyang kamay.

“Alright. Hindi ka payat okay? Pero you need to eat a lot. And besides, it's my treat, so let's eat a lot and enjoy the food.”

“Fine.” Sagot ko. He sighed and pinch my cheeks after that.

And our order came. My eyes widened after seeing all the orders he made.

"Seriously, Zander? Mauubos ba natin to?"

"Kayanin mo." Sagot niya sa natatawang tono. I glared at him. "We're going to take out the leftovers." I sighed in relief after hearing that.

After an hour, we decided to went home. Sa kabusugan ko ay nakaidlip ako sa sasakyan. When I open my eyes, the prince looking Alexander welcomed me.

"The sleeping beauty is awake." He said in a husky voice and my heart skipped a beat. I wasn't able to say a word after seeing his unfathomable, golden brown eyes contrasted exceptionally with his gorgeous face. He's so gorgeous that I cannot find the right word to describe him.

Our eye to eye contact broke when we heard footsteps coming our way.

"Zander! You're home!" Sigaw ng kanyang nakababatang kapatid na si Sofia.

"They didn't know yet?" Tanong ko. He only gives me a wink as a reply.

I immediately distanced myself from him and opened the car door to get out when Sofia neared.

"Hi, Helena!" She greeted me happily. I smiled at her when she gave me a hug. She's sweet but quite a handful sometimes. She's four years younger than me

"Hi little monster." Bati naman ni Alexander sa kanya. Sofia jumps at her older brother. I only chuckled when I saw Zander almost get out of balance for it was unexpected.

Zander gave me a side glance and I made a face before turning my back at them. I smiled after hearing his chuckles.

"Hera, apo. Buti naman nakabalik ka na." Bati ng aking lola pagkatapos kung magmano sa kanya.

"Yes po, lola. I saw some of my classmates in the park."

"Aba, e di mabuti." May saya sa boses niyang sabi.

"Look who's here!" Sigaw ni Sofia mula sa bukana ng pintuan na dumagundong sa kabuuan ng mansion. The maids are shaking their heads after hearing Sofia's shout.

Ilang minuto lang ay nagsilabasan sina Megan at Eleonor sa kani-kanilang kwarto at nagmamadaling bumaba ng hagdan upang salubungin si Alexander. Alexander gave them a big hug.

"Son." Maligayang salubong ni Tita Alexandria sa kanya. Maaliwalas naman ang mukha ni Tito ng makita si Zander.

"You didn't tell us you're going home today." Tito commented.

"You won't be surprised if I tell you, dad." Mapaglaro niyang sagot. His dad patted his shoulder.

Dumiretso na ako sa aking kwarto upang magbihis. I have my own room in their mansion katabi lang ng aking lola. I told tita that it's fine with me to share the room with my grandma but she insisted that I need my own room to have a privacy.

She's so kind that she never forces me to do household chores but I insisted on helping. Letting me stay with them is already too much so I need to do something to compensate for it in some ways. My grandma let me do the things I wanted and supported me.

I changed my church dress into a casual knee-length white dress. Then, I went to my mini library and grabbed a book. I love Sundays since I don't have anything to do but to go to church and read all day. Sunday is a rest day for everyone who works in a ranch. They aren't obliged to work on Sunday. Some stayed in their bunkhouses while others went to the sentro to take a stroll.

Ilang chapters palang ang aking nababasa ng may kumatok sa aking pintuan. I get up on my bed and open the door.

"Hi, Helena!" Megan is waving her hand.

"Oh no!" sigaw naman ni Eleonor na ngayon ay nagmamadaling pumunta sa amin.

"I went here first my dear sister." Nang-uuyam na sabi ni Megan kay Elle.

"But I also want to try the make-up I bought!" Kontra niya dito.

"Practice it with Sofia, my dear sis."

"But you know how handful that brat, Meg."

"Whatever. Anyway, Helena, can you please come over to my room?"

"Well," I wasn't able to finish my answer when Alexander suddenly appeared.

"Sorry little sisters but I need her too." Sabi niya sabay hila sa akin patakbo.

"Zander!!" Magkasabay na sigaw ng dalawa. He only gives them a flying kiss.

"You're so in demand even here, huh. What more if you went out there." Mahina niyang sabi.

"Where are we heading?"

"We're just going to take a stroll." Sagot niya.

We went where the horses are and got his favorite horse. He put on a saddle and offered his hand. I took his hand and placed me on the back of his horse then he carried himself and position in my back. Then, he maneuvers the horse towards the direction of the valley.
