Life Has Got Changed

With the ring of a doorbell, she came back from the ocean of thoughts and memories. She was completely shattered; with trembling feet she opened the door. It was her husband, Fernandez. He immediately felt something was wrong with Nina. Her swollen eyes were enough to tell the story.

“What happened? Are you alright? Were you crying? Is everything ok?” series of questions Fernandez asked in a second.

“I am fine, just a headache, nothing to worry about, I took the pain killer, it will get fine” Nina lied firmly.

“I know you must be missing Andriana, don’t worry she will be back in a week, she is enjoying her holidays at her grandparents, its good for us too, I think I should get few days off so we can spend some good time together” Fernandez suggested.

“We already have a lot of time for ourselves, no need to get holidays.” Nina rejected right away.

Oscar was still in her mind and nerves she still could feel his breath and his whispers in her ears.  She was thinking about him. everything has got changed right away, she always feels happy when Fernandez came back but Oscar has changed the entire feeling. “Am I committing some sin? Should I meet him tomorrow?” she asked herself.

Suddenly Fernandez held her hand and took her in a bedroom, but Nina was still in the feeling of Oscar. Fernandez started kissing her and she joined. Her eyes were close and she was feeling as it was Oscar. It was not first time she started feeling Oscar while having time with Fernandez, she used to do it most of time as it gives her more satisfaction. Truth was that she loves Oscar and loved to feel him even in Fernandez.

Oscar was lying on his bed when phone rang. It was Amanda. Amanda was his colleague and a good friend who has strong feelings for Oscar. They were in relations but Oscar has clearly told her that he was not into marriage thing. So, their relation never grew.

“Hello, how was it? Tell me the whole story?” Amanda asked in inquiring tone.

“She is a married woman, so nothing more. Can we talk about something else?” Oscar replied.

“Should I come to your place?” Amanda further asked.

“Really feeling tired, see you tomorrow, take care” Oscar disconnected the line.

Oscar was all in to the thoughts of Nina. “Was it right what I did today? How she might feel?” He asked himself.       

While thinking about her he went into deep sleep.

“Good morning, Nina, I have prepared breakfast for you, now I am leaving for office and I told you; today, I have to go to nearby town so will come late at night, take care.” Fernandez stated hurriedly and left the room.

“What should I wear in evening? Am I going on a date?” Nina asked herself.

She was excited but nervous about what to wear and she has no answer of the fact that she was a married woman and she was going to meet her ex-boyfriend. She never thought to cheat Fernandez but now she was actually cheating him.

Oscar was waiting for Nina in the same restaurant, he knew she will definitely come and while he was thinking about her, she entered the restaurant. She was wearing black skirt with white shirt. Her high heels were making her classier, her beauty magnified by her red lipstick.

“Oh my God, you are looking amazingly beautiful” Oscar admired while pulling out chair for her.

“Thanks, you never get changed” Nina whispered.

“But life has got changed, it was nothing without you” Oscar added.

“Yes, life has got changed since yesterday, I am clueless what to do next? I have no idea why I came here? How these things will end up? How I can restrain myself of being close to you? how I stop myself loving you? why I am ignoring the fact that things are not same like they were 10 years back?” Nina was asking questions.

“I only have one answer for all your questions and that is I love you and I could never control this feeling” Oscar replied firmly.

“Well right at this moment I just want to look in your eyes, I just want to say that you are beautiful and I want to see a beautiful smile which you are hiding” Oscar stated and both started laughing.

“Aww, I can die for that smile” Oscar added.

“Now you are trying your pickup lines” Nina replied.

“This restaurant serves a really good steak, should we order that?” Oscar asked.

“You know very well; steaks are my favorite” Nina replied right away.

After having lunch, both headed towards the parking lot.

“Where should we go?” asked Oscar.

“where ever you want” Nina replied with a smile. She was like as she was completely conquered.

While sitting in car she was recalling the memories they both had together. There was no place in a city which was not witnessed of their love.

“Do you remember?  we had a lot of memories here in this area of city, our first date, our first kiss, my birthday which we celebrated on roof top on the 3^rd street, I can never forget that devoted love of yours” Nina was talking and her eyes were getting wet.

“yes, but you forgot everything and left, well I don’t know for how much time you are back but  I love to spend every moment like a life with you” Oscar replied while looking at her in love.

Next few minutes were in complete silence, Oscar placed his hand on Nina’s knee and continued to drive towards his apartment.

Nina was thinking that she cant hold herself any more, so when they entered the elevator she right away put her lips on Oscar’s lips. It was desperate and passionate kiss which lasted for few seconds as it was 9^th floor and Oscar’s apartment was in that floor. They rushed into his apartment and now they were like teenagers who don’t know their limits, they were passionate and they were like Romeo and Juliet of this era. Nina forgot that she was married, she just knew one thing and that was that she was with her first love at that moment. Nina was in his arms and they were exhausted. She placed her head on his chest and asked “why you love me, why you never stop loving me? Why you don’t hate me?”

“God has never created any woman more beautiful than you, so I could only love you” Oscar replied and they both laughed.

“I know I am cheating but I really don’t know what to do, at the moment I am letting the things happen, I know life has got changed and so do we, at least I don’t want to let you go and we will sort down the things latter” Nina explained her point and started kissing. They were the new love birds in the town and for them life has really got changed.
