Chapter 69 Let Jean Michaels Go

Dorothy reacted swiftly. She put on a big smile and looked at the maid at the door.

Then, she said courteously, "There's no need to go to the trouble. Joyce is not feeling well. We'll be heading back now."

Dorothy looked at Jean after speaking.

Jean lowered her head and followed Dorothy out of the bedroom.

Her pace was slow, and her ankle was aching. However, she could still handle the pain.

Dorothy was walking in front of Jean and urging her, "Walk faster."

Jean caught up to her.

The maid at the door glanced at Jean but didn't notice anything. She walked into the house and was comforted to see Joyce lying in bed.

"Let me reapply the medication on your ankle, Madam."

A hint of panic flashed across Joyce's eyes when she heard the maid. She answered quickly, "Let's do it after my shower."
