Chapter 687 Cruel

When Jean heard Judy's words, she paused and pursed her lips lightly.

Jean still had no idea of what her family was truly like at this point. She wanted to see for herself if her family was really as horrible as the Larsons made them sound.

Tyler's gaze fell on Jean. Seeing that she had fallen silent, he said to the maid, "Let them in, but don't let them know that Jean and I are here."

The maid nodded gently once she understood Tyler's intentions.

Judy had caught on as well. She looked over at Jean and asked softly, "Jean, why don't you keep yourself hidden for the time being?"

Jean nodded. "Alright."

Then, she got up from the couch.

Tyler rose with her and held her hand as they walked into the lounge.

The lounge and the living room were separated only by a small arch. As such, they could hear the voices from the living room while they were in the lounge.

Jean waited in the lounge for a short moment.

A few minutes later, she heard a woman's voice.

"Madam Judy, sorry for both
