Chapter 67 Treat It as Her Own

Jean walked on the pavement carefully because she almost fell the last time.

She lowered her head to look at her steps. When she looked up, she noticed that the anxious man stopped to wait for her.

Jean paused slightly and stopped in her tracks. Tyler reached out and grabbed her hand before she could respond. He said, "I have no time to be strolling with you."

Jean was unfazed and wanted to retract her hand. However, Tyler continued grabbing her hand and continued his walk.

He seemed to have slowed his pace.

Neither of them spoke during the walk to the garage.

Tyler let go of her hand immediately. He opened the car door, shoved her into the passenger seat, and shut it.

Jean was startled. Tyler walked around the car and got in the driver's seat. He started the car and drove off.

He appeared indifferent. He was nothing like the gentleman who held her hand on the pavement.

Jean felt an inexplicable feeling of disappointment.

She could still feel Tyler's warmth on her palm.
