Alpha White and Lucas entered the study room, after which Lucas shut the door.
"Please you may have your seat", Lucas said, offering him a seat out of courtesy.
"Thank you but I think I'll sit when we go back outside", Alpha White said.
"I had something really important to talk to you about before I arrived here but now I am here, my focus seems to have shifted", he said.
"Why is that so?", Lucas asked. He didn't want to assume anything that was on his mind, although he could guess what he wanted to say.
"My attention shifted to Nicole. Do you know her true nature?", Alpha White asked. He knew Lucas had his abilities to tell the difference bet
Alpha White listened patiently to Lucas' narration of the events that happened last night until he finished. A lot had really happened over the past few hours and he dealt ruthlessly with Dracula."Now I understand the link between the vampire killings and Nicole", Alpha White said."Your killings were not discreet though, the entire human population of the city were aware of it. They were aware that vampires were not mythical creatures but are real and that is not good for us or for them", he said."Did you ever wonder what happened to the bodies of the fallen vampires you slayed? Do you know why the humans are all indoors as we speak?", he asked.Lucas hadn't yet thought about that, all he thought ab
"Unfortunately I asked her a question she has the answers too, that is why she is crying", Lucas said.Andrew looked confused at Lucas."Why would a simple question make Mildred cry so much and if it made her uncomfortable why did he insist on bothering her with it?", he thought."Can she not answer the question?", he asked Lucas."She has too. Mildred was about answering something really important when you knocked on the door", Lucas said. He turned his attention to her, so she could go ahead.Mildred had no choice but to go on. If she ever wanted Lucas to trust her again she had to tell him the whole truth or risk him heari
"I want to apologise on behalf of Mildred to you Lucas and to your brothers; Mark and Andrew", Alpha White said, resuming his conversation with Lucas."I also want to specially apologise to Nicole for what Mildred did and also for her losses. I can see she means a lot to the three of you and so she does to me too", he said. Alpha White didn't really care so much about Nicole, he had no reason to. He was just meeting her for the first time and barely knew anything about her until now. All he cared about was Mildred, his werewolf park and the Vampire hybrids."Thank you Alpha White. Your apology on behalf of Mildred is accepted", Lucas said."I am sure Nicole will forgive her in future but she has to earn it by not doing anything that can harm her or put her in d
Lucas returned back to the living room where the others were. His thought had gone back to Mildred and why her behaviour was unsettling. It appeared she was remorseful about what she did as she approached him."Lucas, how is Nicole? Will she be alright?", Mildred asked, looking up at him.Lucas looked at her, wondering if her good intention now towards Nicole was really genuine."The worst has passed, she is a tough girl, she will be fine", he said. If she could survive the events of the last few hours and was still standing strong she could survive this too."Can I see her and personally apologise to her?", Mildred asked, pleading."I wish yo
Ambrosia and Mary made the way quickly through the streets. They had stayed for about 2 hours at the restaurant but they decided it was time they hit the road and kept going. They covered a lot of ground in the empty streets of the city. There were still no souls on the street, vampires or humans. They weren't on the look out for werewolves, they felt sure there would be none too. A battle between vampires and werewolves was going to have great casualties and the werewolves were far fewer than the vampires, meaning it will affect their numbers more. But that didn't account for the vampire hybrids. If they were involved then the tables would turn drastically in favour of the werewolves. The large numbers of the vampires were not a problem to the vampire hybrids, they would simply cut the vampires to size.Ambrosia and Ma
Almost 2 weeks had passed since Lucas rescued Nicole from Dracula and the vampire hierarchy. Nicole had moved some of her things to Lucas' apartment and was now staying permanently with him. The city had returned back to normal and everywhere was as it used to be.Lucas had just wrapped up his first movie and was on his way with his brothers to pick up Nicole from the tattoo shop. He was the one driving their luxury sedan, while his brothers sat at the back. The front passenger seat was reserved for Nicole. Lucas had recovered his car that same day and had brought it back safely to his residence. They arrived shortly at the Tattoo shop Nicole worked in. Lucas was extra happy today, happy because he had completed his first movie and also because he had a big announcement to make tonight.
Nicole made her way up to the 50th floor riding the elevator with Lucas, Mark and Andrew. When they arrived, she was the first to walk out of the elevator. Usually it was Lucas who led the way but today Lucas didn't feel like he allowed her to walk in front and he walked slightly behind her. Nicole kind of liked it, it was good for her to take the lead sometimes plus she felt Lucas wanted to stay behind to get a good view of her, to admire her even more. She had a spare key to the apartment and as she approached the front door, she brought it out from her handbag and placed it into the keyhole. She was about to unlock the door with the key when she heard lucas' voice from behind."I love you", he whispered to her, smiling."I love you too", Nicole whispered bac
Ambrosia and Mary had finally settled down to life in the central part of the city. They had looked for one of the best and most secure residential buildings in this part of the city and had settled for the high rise luxury building the vampire hybrids lived in but unknowingly to them. They were staying on the 10th floor. They chose that floor for many reasons. From the 10th floor above, you could rent the entire space of your floor without having to share it with anyone, so that meant they had a lot of privacy. Also if there was a need to escape from the building in case there was a threat to their lives they could still jump from the 10th floor and survive. Whatever wounds they sustained would not be fatal because of the height and their bodies would heal themselves in seconds to minutes. Life had been good to them for the 2 weeks they had stayed here."Later tonight I will go
