Chapter 47

Ash and Saphira stood outside Hazel’s cottage knocking on the front door but got no answer. They had been knocking for over thirty minutes.

“I don’t think anyone is home” Saphira walked to the front porch and took a sit as her eyes swept curiously around the village.

"can't you just like teleport yourself in there like you always do, that would be a lot easier for both of us" She suggested, waiting for him to do but Ash didn’t respond to her and only tried to look inside the house through the little glass window.

Saphira sighed deeply and rested her back on the chair she was sitting on. The village was eerily quiet for her liking, and she couldn't see anyone around, which made it harder for them to ask for Hazel. Saphira knew what was going on in Ash’s mind. He was hoping he was wrong about his sister and she hoped so, too.
