Chapter 50

The most enticing scent invaded Liam’s nose, causing all his senses to become alert.

What was this wonderful, flowery scent? He could feel his wolf purring in utter delight. He opened his eyes abruptly to see where the wondrous scent originated from.

And behold, a lovely girl stood in front of him with her head down. It was the clumsy girl from before; he remembered.

His eyes became bloodshot red. As her wondrous scent invaded his nose the more than she attempted to leave the room.

“Mate!,” a loud growl erupted from the Alpha King's chest. He reached out his hand quickly and stopped the young girl in her tracks before she could leave.

Joan turned around to look at the man holding her by her hands and what she saw terrified her to her core. His eyes were completely red, and he looked feral. She could feel the hair at the back of her neck stand in fear. What was happening!? How could this be possible? Her mind was in turmoil as her whole body began to tremble.
