64. Dream talking

Akshara wandered into the realms of her dreams hoping to meet Dev. In her dream, she found a door that looked exactly like the door to his chamber. She hurried to open it, calling, "Dev, are you there?"

Dev was resting in his king-sized bed with his eyes closed. Her voice awakened the slumber of Dev. He smiled at her, "Why do you take so long to come?"

"Devil, I wanted to ask you something. Can I?" Akshara asked him, approaching him with stammering words.

"I know something is eating you. What is it? " Dev sat down to lean on his headrest.

Akshara tiptoed to stand by his bed as the icy floor in his dreams was too cold. "I wanted to know many things. I may ask tomorrow. You will be exhausted after a long day. I must let you take proper rest."

When Akshara turned to go toward her bed, Dev caught her hand and insisted on sitting on his bed. "Tell me, I am all ears."
