Samantha’s POV.

I had a very long day. Daciana was no help either. She stalked me like a hawk with the help of Sheila. “Leave Everyone!The Alpha has returned!” I saw everyone hiding or going into a room and closing the door. 

I wanted to watch and see what was happening. “He’s so handsome”, Sheila said. I didn’t notice she had followed me to where I hid so I could see Alpha Herveux. “Hi, I’m Sheila” She stretched her hands to me for an obvious handshake.

 “I know who you are, stop stalking me!” I accepted her handshake warmly with a disgusting facial appearance, that should let her know I didn’t want her around me. 

She rolled her eyes at me and closed the door. I forgot I was hiding. I stepped out through the other side just to bump into Alpha Herveuax. I was so scared. “I am sorry. It wasn’t intentional” Fernando saw me. “I know you from somewhere”, he said to me. My heart was racing, “Please don’t tell him, I am a slave”, I begged him in my head. 

“Yes, she's the same woman from the school” Alpha Herveaux said to Fernando. “Father!” Tala screamed, rushing to welcome Alpha Herveaux. “Been a while I saw her this happy” he said as he hugged her.

“And what made daddy’s princess so happy today?” He asked her, ignoring me. “It's Auriel, father, she did everything I wanted on my list” She replied. hugging her father so tightly.

 It reminded me of my father. I wondered how he was coping with my disappearance from the human world. 

“So will you keep your promise of going back to school?” He asked her meekly, he made her feel she was in control of him. 

“Yes, father. Auriel will go with me”. I stopped walking with them. I stalled a bit and decided to go back to my room. 

“The Alpha request your presence!” Fernando said to me. “But he's just a few steps away. If he had wanted to see me, he could just have told me immediately”, I said to Fernando. I was still mad at Alpha Herveux because he slept with Dacaiana.

“Follow me at once!” Fernando commanded. 

Tala left her father as soon as I entered. Fernando also left. “Can I go too?” I asked him rudely, but it was unintentional.

“I had a very bad long day. Please just go straight to the point. Our last discussion was inconclusive.” 

“You asked to see your uncle?” He paused his speech. I thought he wanted to continue. 

“Speak up?” He shouted aggressively. It made me feel really less of who I was. “Yes……….. I want to go and see my uncle”. Cervantes had told me to come to him. 

“Come closer”, He said to me, smiling. “Me?” I asked. “Was he trying to flirt with me again?” I asked myself. 

“What you did with Tala? Keep it up. That’s the only reason you are alive after going against my rules”, he smacked me on the forehead with his fingers when I moved close to him.

He held onto my hands. “Let go of me”, I said to him. 

“Are you mad at me?” he laughed. “Why?” He asked me. “I know men like him. All they do is deceive and use women, especially the helpless ones. He then goes ahead to marry his prime!” I said in my head. 

“Her birthday is coming up soon, find out what her desire is. I will make it happen during her birthday party” he said, still gripping my hands firmly. 

“If only you could be a good man as you are a good father” I said, loudly, by mistake. 

“Aren’t you scared of me?” He asked, smiling at me. “Look at you so helpless” He wiggled my hands, still gripping them firmly. 

“Your lips……So sexy, I remember kissing them” he placed his hands on my cheeks. “Please stop. I begged him again”.

“Why? Don’t you want to help your Alpha cool off?” he said seductively, kissing me on my forehead. 

“Not after you slept with that woman!” I said, losing my hands off his grip. I suddenly got strength to do so. 

“Don’t tell me you’re jealous.” He laughed really hard, making me feel stupid because of my utterance. 

“No, that is not what I meant. It came out wringly. I mean you have a prime. Whatever happened was never my business” Alpha Herveux laughed and took me in his arms this time. 

“But I don’t even know you. Why would you be jealous?” He asked me. 

“I am not jealous, okay. Like I said, whatever happened between you and that woman is none of my concern”, I replied him, trying so hard to get out of his strong arms that were crossed over my body. He was way taller than me, but it was so hard.

He rested his head on my shoulders as I stood in front of him, with my back against his body. “You should respect Daciana. Who knows she might just be your Luna!” He said, kissing me on the neck. 

“You have no right to hold me down this way”. I had it to the top. I wanted him to leave me alone. “Why? Is it because I gave you an opportunity to chose that night?” “I can make you my slave now if you want to?”

“Life is easy because you can do and un-do. Do whatever you want!” I said so just because I was his slave after-all. Sooner or later, Feranado would find out and tell him. 

“No Auriel, life is harder with power”, he said, kissing me on the neck. I was curious. “Do you mean your life is hard?” I asked him, peering closely into his eyes. 

“Care to make Alpha Happy now?” he asked me. I found it strange how I suddenly felt light within me towards Alpha Herveaux. I felt like I had known him for a while now. 

“I want to know a bit about your life” I said to him. He smiled between his breaths. “Are you really from the Lycan’s prowler Clan?” he asked me. 

“No, not at all” I replied, uncertain of his next action. 

“That explains all your actions” he smiled in return.  

“Dear Alpha! The Prime is here!” The omega announced.

“Arrh, I hope you will let me go this time?” I said to him. “Not after you please me” he threatened. 

I had my heart in my mouth. “I f she comes in and finds us in this position…………’ “You will be in trouble” he interrupted. “Cervantes warned me against crossing Dacaiana. Now I'm in a fixed situation. I have to let my ego down”.

“Hurru Up Auriel. Make me happy” He asked meekly, but possessive. “Why not after she leaves? They said she was at the door.” 

“Youre the one making her wait” Alpha Herveaux said to me. “What do….. You want?” 

He turned my face to him. Alpha Herbeux kissed me. He placed his hands on my shoulders to take off my uniform. My mind was still uneasy, I held his hands and stopped him. “Please, not here”, I pleaded with him again. 

If Cervantes had told me all of these, I might just take the other option. But dying is not easy either. 

 “Fine, I will be back.” He let go of me by pushing me to the ground. “Let her in!” 

Dacaiana walked inside. I was still on the floor, my elbow hit the ground from his push. “He must be a psychopath, who would believe he was flirting with me just now?”

“What is she doing here?” Daciana asked as she saw me. “Tala is happy”. He replied to her as if that was the answer to his question. I was raging with anger within me. 

“We will deal with Tala later” “I made my findings. A slave of yours and a human, to be precise, escaped from the mansion.” My heart stopped beating at that point. 

“TO my surprise, it was just after Veruska’s death. The human is the murderer!” 

“Find the human at once!” Alpha Herveaux shouted.
