"Enter." She said in a soft but soft voice as the door opened and she looked up to see her two brothers.

" Welcome." .

Robin smiled, "We just wanted to see what you were doing."

"Game," she said, nervously raising her phone.

"Do you mind if we go in?" Asked

She shook her head: "Of course not."

Elijah smiled at her as he made his way to the sofa by the window, where she had been lounging for hours, and Robin made his way to the edge of the bed.

They stared at her for a few minutes in awkward silence which made her feel even more nervous Robin noticed this as he finally said,

“Elia and I wanted to know more about you. Since we are going to be spending a lot of time together. In addition, you must be feeling very lonely here, not knowing anyone.” He said.

"Assent ." you answer.

"I'll start, how old are you?" He said excitedly, making her raise an eyebrow.

"Sixteenth. What about you?" .

"I'm seventeen and Robin here is eighteen." .

"Well, what's your favorite color?" Robin asked.

"black." She answers, Elijah opened his mouth to ask another question, but she stopped him.

"It's my turn." She smiled as she thought of a question.

Do you have middle names? I asked at last.

"Parker, Elijah Parker Hudson." He said she nodded and then looked at Robin.

"what about you?" I asked when he didn't answer and turned bright red.

"I wouldn't say. It's embarrassing." Elijah tried to hide his smile.

“Come on, I won’t tell anyone, it will remain a secret between us.” She said at last.

"Leslie." He muttered and then Elijah burst out laughing which made Robin turn crimson even more.

"Oh! It wasn't me who chose him." He said.

Looking at his brother's laughing face made me smile.

"Wow, Robin Leslie Hudson." She said, making Elijah laugh even louder and Robin staring at him with hatred.

Suddenly the door opened and Ben entered the room. Carlesia noticed that he was wearing a white shirt and black pants.

"Is everything okay here?" He said smiling.

"Yes dad and I think we'll get along very well." Robin nodded.

"Well, that's good to know." He said, when they heard the doorbell, he added, "I must go open the door." .

"Let's go." Robin said as he walked out of the room, followed by Elijah.

"Will not you come?" asked Elijah when he noticed that Carlesia had not moved from her spot on the bed.

"Yes, in a moment." She said and watched them leave while hearing the front door open downstairs.

After a few minutes, Carlesia finally decided to go downstairs, she did not want to embarrass her new family.

As she walked down the stairs, the conversation started to become more and more clear she stopped for a moment eavesdropping on what they were saying.

"Alpha Gabriel, it's an honor to meet you." She heard her mother say, which made her surprised by this word again.

She paused and listened intently, "I'm here to see humanity, and to make sure it doesn't pose a threat." A strange voice replied.

It was rough and heavy but had a rather frightening touch at the same time that made her shiver.

"Don't worry, she isn't." Robin replied.

"I hope, Robin, being the betta, that you will put the herd first before your family." The voice answered him, making her confused.

"You know I respect my position and rank, Gabriel." Robin replied to the man I assumed was Gabriel.

"Where is she anyway?" He said causing her heart to race faster as she made her way up the stairs quickly and down as if she hadn't heard their conversation.

She heard the sound of high heels and a second later her mother stood in the hall looking at the stairs, smiling at her.

"Oh! There you are! We've been waiting for you." But Carlesia said she could feel nervousness in her voice not to mention cold sweat on her forehead.

"Are you okay mom?" She asked when she reached the last stage and noticed the tension on her mother's face.

“Yes of course. Come, let me introduce you to the guest.” She said and grabbed her hand as she entered the living room.

The moment she entered, her eyes fell on the man who was holding her back.

He was tall and wore a black suit.

Her mother let go of her hand as the man turned and Carlesia finally noticed his pale blue eyes and his strong jawline.

Gabriel's eyes fell on her and he began to sniff the air around her, causing her to raise an eyebrow due to his strange behavior. But Gabriel was so engrossed in smelling the intoxicating scent that it filled the room as soon as she entered.

Finally, gaining some control over himself, he looked at Ben and then at her mother who was looking nervously at her daughter, obviously frightening her.

"Carlesia, this is Mr. Gabriel Keane. He's working with Ben." Maria said, which made her even more curious.

The man who stood before her was clearly no more than twenty-three years old, which made her wonder what work he was doing.

“Alpha - I mean Mr. Kane, this is my daughter Carlisia,” Maria says, introducing her daughter.

The man looked at Carlesia curiously as he walked towards her with one hand in his pockets.

The closer he got to her, the stronger the sweet intoxicating scent became, which drove him crazy.

Her heart thumped as the slender boy stopped just one foot away from her and sniffed like dogs causing her to sway inwardly.

He kept staring at her as he extended his hand,

"Gabriel." He said, his voice came out hoarse.

The innocent girl in front of him looked at his hand, her gorgeous, lustrous hair forming a waterfall around her.

"Carlesia". She said and put her hand in his, then he moved his head back a little and took a deep breath while the wolf howled inside him because of her touch, while the girl in front of him looked at him confused and her heart was beating fast.

I finally found it. And before he could do anything, he felt his wolf take over.

His hand moved to her wrist and grabbed her with a strong, painful fist, completely forgetting that she was a human, while her eyes widened, as she struggled to get her hand out of his grasp and looked at her mother.

"Ben what's going on!" Carlesia's mother said to her husband, looking at her daughter, tears began to form in her eyes, but Maria could not do anything for her fear of the Alpha, who was able to kill her easily.

Suddenly Gabriel opened his eyes, shocking the girl in front of him who was already frightened even more.

"Companion!" He roared as he stared at everyone with yellow eyes, his eyes finally falling on Carlesia who was startled by the sudden change in the color of his eyes.

"Please let me go." Carlesia said as she tried to free her hand, but this made him feel more pleasure flowing through him and he grabbed her other hand with a tighter fist, causing her to take a sharp breath of stinging pain, but Gabriel did not care.

He was out of control, crazy about wanting the girl who was in his clutches, the mate he had been waiting for for years and now here she is.

It was shocking for a human to mate with a wolf, something that had never happened in their history, but he didn't care.

Tears started running down Carlesia's face as she struggled to get her hands out of his grasp, looking at her so-called family who didn't even dare to move to help her.

"Please help me!" She was crying looking at them but all her mother did was look at the ground, ashamed because she couldn't stand the ruthless alpha.

When Robin woke up from his shock, he couldn't bear to see Alpha do this to his half-sister.

"Gabriel, let her go. You hurt her." He said as he walked toward him, but Gabriel roared and pulled Carlesia toward his chest.

He would growl but Robin wouldn't let him.

"Gabriel she's human, you're hurting her." He said as he approached them, Carlesia was crying as the fist on her wrist became tighter and seconds later she heard a crack that made her scream in pain.

Robin took advantage of his distraction and rushed towards him but Gabriel looked at him just in time and threw the poor girl away from him and pushed Robin to the ground, ignoring that he pushed her so hard that she hit her head against the wall in front of him. causing her head to be injured and to fall to the ground unconscious like a tattered doll.

Her mother rushed towards her with tears in her eyes as she examined her bluish wrist, a broken hand, and a bleeding wound on her head.

Gabriel's possessed wolf roared as he squeezed Robin's throat, Robin kicked him and quickly clasped his hands firmly on the Alpha's shoulder to prevent him from killing him with his extended claws.

"Gabriel listen to me! I was just trying to help. She's human, you hurt her. I won't take her away from you, look at her." Robin said as he tried to help Fah to control himself, but kept snarling at him.

He quickly grabbed his head in one arm and pointed at Carlesia's body lying on the ground while her mother cried an ambulance.

"Look at her, Gabriel, I did it for her." Robin said again, taking one last deep breath, relaxing as he saw the alpha's pale blue eyes overwhelmed with sadness.

In a split second, Gabriel pushed Robin away from him, and walked toward Carlesia seated in front of her.

Her hair was bloodshot and her cheek was sticky from crying, but now she was breathing peacefully, her chest moving up and down.

He doesn't waste a moment as he very gently lifts her in his arms and gets up, and so does Maria.

“Just please—” she begins to say but he interrupts her.

“I will put her to bed and call the doctor. He will be here with all the equipment needed to treat her. It will be more comfortable for her.” He said and left the room without waiting for an answer.

He went up the stairs and followed her scent into her room, gently placing her on her bed.

He closed his eyes and took several deep breaths as his senses filled with its intoxicating scent. He opened them and looked at his beloved, who was lying on the bed, her pillow quickly stained with blood.

Her hair covered most of her face and her wrist was blue, with severe bruising and swelling.

He felt a pain in his heart from hurting her, even though this feeling was alien to him. He had never shown mercy before.

But her innocence, her beauty and... just.........

He went crazy and lost control of himself and was taken over by his wolf in a split second which is the first time this has happened.

He gently pushed some of her hair away from her face and kissed her bloodied forehead, licking his lips to taste her metallic blood.

He sighed and left the room and then took out his phone to call the doctor.
