Chapter Six

Back to Present.

As the memories of the past Continued to flash, Anna Jones began to tremble, and before anyone could say anything the once composed young lady became like a vulnerable kid after a nightmare.

The past Continued haunting her again and again even after so many years, the Scar was still there as it was very deep.

She could vividly remember how much she screamed and cried but it all fell on deaf ears as her Dignity was still taken away from her.

" Don't, Please don't!!! " She Mumbled Sobbingly.

" Anna, Sis Anna!!! " Her assistant and Best friend called out to her, earning no response, the latter started Shaking her.

Anna's face was covered in tears and her dark brown hair was sticking to her face.

" Anna!!! " Ellie called out again but she didn't get any response from Anna, Scared she quickly dialed the number of Anna's Therapist.

After one ring the Call was picked by Davi.

" Hello, Davi? " She greeted.

" Hi, it's me, What's the Matter, Ellie? , Why do you sound Scared? " Davi asked.

" Well, it's Anna, she's having her Episode again, she's starting to relive her traumatic Experience once again. " Ellie replied.

" What! What do you think Caused it, is it the rain? Because as far as I am concerned I don't she's supposed to be having that now. " Davi said.

" Well,... I think I might have an idea of why she's suddenly having her Episode. " Ellie mumbled under her breath but Davi heard it.

" What's it? " She asked.

"While we were having an important meeting with the Ceo's from other Companies, discussing and Suggesting ways in which we could expand our Businesses to the southern part of the world, one of the CEO got angry when his Suggestion was rejected and so he started insulting Anna for her Bad luck of being an Empty vessel with nothing to show off and being a disgrace to Women for not having a husband or a boyfriend and blah blah blah... " Ellie Explained and Davi could only Sigh.

" Hmmmn, but how sure are you that, it's the cause? Because it might not be it and be something else, you know. " Davi reasoned.

" You are right but I am pretty sure that it's the cause because while the CEO was busy blabbing his nonsense I noticed a Slight change in Anna's expression and her eyes reflected an emotion of pain and hurt. " Ellie replied.

" Okay, I am on my way there, Give me thirty minutes, I'll be there. " Davi said.

" Alright, thanks " Ellie replied as she disconnected the call.

Elie Went back to the Floor Ceiling window where Anna Sat on the tiled floor.

As Ellie stared at her sobbing boss and the best friend she couldn't help but feel bad for her as she believed that her boss doesn't deserve this kind of fate, even though she's harsh times she's still a Kind-hearted person and also nice.

Anytime she sees Anna like this she always felt a pang in her heart, she wished that she could do something to take away all the latter's  Sorrow and tears, Her Boss was too good to deserve a fate like this.

She moved closer to Anna and Embraced her in a tight hug, then she Realized how scared and Frightened the latter was.

" Please don't, leave me alone, let me go! " Anna kept Muttering.

" Ssh, There's no one here to hurt you here, you are completely safe so please keep calm and stop crying, Anna. " Ellie Tried Comforting her and luckily it worked as Anna stopped Sobbing.

  " Uh uh " Anna Whispered as her eyes closed and she fell asleep on Ellie's Shoulders.

Thankfully they were sitting on the floor with Ellie's back resting on the wall or Ellie wouldn't be able to imagine how numb her shoulders would become if they were going to stay this way for hours.

Ellie Adjusted their position so Anna ended up Sleeping on the floor with her head on Ellie's lap.

  Ellie immediately occupied herself with Patting Anna's head and brushing the latter's long Curly Brown hair with her fingers, She Especially loved  ' Combing ' Anna's hair as the hair was too Curly and Unique.

" Anna, Anna, Anna, When will you be Happy again?, When would all your Tears and Sorrows End, Baby girl? " Ellie mumbled getting a little Emotional.

While she was still busy with her thoughts, the Sound of her Phone ringing interrupted her.

Looking at the Caller's ID she saw that it was the Receptionist's.

  ' Davi must have arrived. ' She thought and she was right.

Answering the call.

" Hello? "

" Good Afternoon Miss Ellie, A Woman named Davi Winfrey Is here with me and she's asking after you, Should I lead her up? " The receptionist inquired.

" Oh! Lead her up. " Ellie instructed.

" Alright, Miss " The Newly Employed Receptionist replied as the call disconnected.

"  Don't worry Anna, I am sure that your Happiness is on its way. " Ellie Mumbled subconsciously without giving any meaning to what she said but never in her wildest dreams did she Expect that what she mumbled was going to become reality.
