Chapter 32: Celia, you won’t become Lorcan’s mate even if I die

Celia had a cold expression on her face as she sauntered towards Raven. Raven did not move, she looked at anywhere but Celia as if avoiding her gaze would help her avoid conflict with her.

Raven knows that Celia is not here to have a friendly chat with her. With her arms crossed and her lips pursed tightly, she looked like a bully prepared to make Raven’s life difficult. Celia’s confident and arrogant stance is way too familiar for Raven.

“What do you want?” Raven asked weakly wanting to get straight to the point. She just wants to get this over with, just satisfy Celia and avoid conflict.

Even though Celia had made things difficult for Raven, deep inside, Raven still wanted to be reconciled with Celia. Celia is the only friend she ever had. She is the only person who protected her and treated her like family when even her own family had abandoned her at birth.
