Chapter 133: Start Over

Lorcan sat on a wooden stool, his torso bare, revealing wounds that ran deep and jagged. Each gash and scratch looked like an emblem of his bravery after a glorious fight. His face was stoic as if he had numbed himself to the pain.

Jericho stood before him, silently staring at the injuries that covered Lorcan's body. He winced, imagining the pain that must be coursing through his veins. Despite the agony, Lorcan remained calm and serene, his eyes shut as if he were in deep meditation.

Jericho took a deep breath, holding back the urge to say what he was thinking. He is still mad at him for accepting Declan’s challenge and putting the Alpha title on the line. Lorcan did not have to fight Declan, but he still did. He caused this agony to himself.
