Chapter 10: Painful Rejection

“R-Raven!” Lorcan stuttered, he couldn’t hide how worried he was when he saw how Raven fall out of her consciousness.

Lorcan carried Raven’s lifeless body to his lap and patted her cheek to wake her up, but he got no response from her. Lorcan felt guilty when she saw how pale Raven looked and how her lips lacked color in her.
