Chapter 15: Ungrateful Friend

Raven stood up from her seat when Celia entered their private room.

Celia had no idea that it was Raven who came to meet her. She thought it was the Alpha or Luna or both. She doesn’t care who appears to meet her, as long as it was one of them. She only came here for one purpose and that is to convince them to let her and Lorcan be together.

Raven’s heart twisted inside her chest when she saw Celia’s state.

Celia was drenched wet, her skin and lips were sickly pale and her whole body is trembling in cold as she clutches on to the warm blanket that is wrapped around her.

As Raven looks at her, she also noticed the drastic changes in her body. Celia has become thinner than the last time she saw her, signs that she hadn’t been eating well. There were also deep bags under her swollen eyes, signs that she is not getting enough sleep and that she has been crying recently.
