Kaine’s pov

In the dark, cold cave, I layed out a map of the entire Red moon pack territory. I observed the plains and routes. I have been in hiding for a few months now. Hiding from my brother, Zack.

Ever since my defeat at the town square, I have been running from him. Not for my life though. I know my brother, no matter what I do to him, he will never kill me. Even though he came close to killing me once. I had to run because I did not want to be in prison. Being in prison will limit me from being able to plot against him.

Of course there is no way I will accept defeat. As long as I am alive, I will become alpha again. Yes I underestimated my brother’s tenacity for survival, but that will never happen again. I will make sure I cover every ends.

Right now, the mission is to bring Zack down. We have to look for creative ways to do that. Everything is going Zack’s way. He even has Freda by his side. Though I sided with Kaine just so I can get her back. He still got her in the end.
