I stared at the big guy with wolf ears and a tail standing naked and shamelessly in front of me. Just what was he blabbing about? Did he think I was a kid?
A wolf turned into a man? What a load of bullshit. That had to be the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard.
"I'm calling the cops," I said, reaching for my phone I had spotted at the lamp table, but he immediately grabbed my hand, glaring at me. "Hey, let go. This... This is assault." I struggled.
"Try something funny and I will really assault you." He threatened. "You know too much at this point and I can't have you spilling my secret."
"What are you talking about?" I asked, still confused as to what was happening.
There was a big tall man, naked in my bedroom and wearing ears and a tail. He was a complete stranger and a lunatic for him to act so shamelessly while wearing such kinky stuff.
"Who are you, anyway?" I asked him.
"So, now you're interested to know who I am?" He asked.
"Of course. How else will I report you to the police?" As soon as I said that, his glare deepened and he tightened his grip on my arm.
It felt like he was going to break my bone in two by how much he was tightening his grip. What sort of strength was that?
"Okay, okay, I'm sorry. I won't... Ugh, I won't call the police. So let me go. You're hurting me." I said but he took a moment to observe me if I was going to keep my words before actually letting loose a little bit.
He did not let go of my hand and instead, asked,
"So, are you going to listen to my words now?" I nodded.
'I'll listen, but it doesn't mean I'll believe. I'm not an idiot.' I thought to myself. 'I might have a death wish, but if I die too easily, my resentful spirit will never be at ease.'
I sighed.
"Alright, I'll listen. So, you can let go now." I said and my gaze dropped down to the rod between his legs. "And cover up while you're at it."
So, we came to a concession and though I still thought that was a good idea, there was nothing I could do against that man who had such brute strength.
He sat opposite me with the blanket draped around his body like a Greek god, and I had to admit that with a body like his, he fit the bill just perfectly.
"So," I tore my eyes away from him, trying not to get tempted and let my gay side best me. "Who are you and what can I do for you?"
"That is..." He paused, his eyebrows suddenly creasing in annoyance. His gaze traveled away from me and to the ceiling, and it looked to me that he was trying to recall something. "This is the worst." I heard him hiss as he covered his face.
"So," I urged. "You are?"
"I have no idea." He suddenly said and it took me a moment to process what he had just said, thus forcing me to exclaim in confusion.
"Huh? What... What do you mean you have no idea?" He looked at me seriously but I had to believe that was a joke. After acting all mighty and scary, he was going to play some sort of prank by telling me he didn't know who he was.
Oh, and he was probably going to tell me he didn't remember how he got on my bed as well, is that it?
I gave him a suspicious look and he sighed.
"I am not trying to pull any pranks so rest easy." He said. "And I am dismayed to know that I cannot recall who I am either. I..."
'Oh, so now he's speaking formally.' My suspicious radar just seemed to catch on to the little details.
"All I remember is that people were chasing me. I don't know why or who they were but I was in my wolf form and injured and then..." He looked up at me and I flinched, feeling my thoughts had been read all of a sudden.
His sharp gaze got my heart thumping for some reason.
"You picked me up." He said and I sighed, defeated.
"Okay, I'm going to assume that what you say is true. That whole chasing and you turning into a wolf or a dog, but..." I folded my arms. "Can you prove it?"
"Prove it?" He asked and I nodded.
"Yes. For me to believe you, you'll have to at least be able to turn back into an animal." I said and this seemed like the perfect plan.
There was no way he was an actual shapeshifter like in the fantasy books, so once he tries to make an excuse, I'll have all the reasons to kick him out. Yes, yes. That was what I was going to do.
"Alright," he said and it struck me. Wait, what was going on? "But I should warn you. My original form is quite bigger than the form you picked up. I don't remember much but I know that fact."
With widened eyes, I watched his body transform into that of another entity. His bones cracked and his joints readjusted right in front of me. It looked like a painful process but there was no grunt of pain or agony coming from him. Just subtle growls as he shifted from human to Wolf.
And before I knew it, a big black wolf was towering over me in my bedroom. It was... huge.
"Now," he said, his voice more hoarse and deep than before. "Do you believe me?"
I stared with wide eyes and a shaking body. There was a wolf in my bedroom. A big black wolf.It was a terrifying sight that had me frozen. I couldn't move from my spot."What? Do you believe me now?" He asked, moving his hairy face closer to mine. I could feel its black eyes sternly fixed on me. "Why are you quiet?"His face drew closer and I felt his warm breath on my skin as he inclined his head, his nose almost touching mine. Honestly, I felt like his gaze would bore into my soul as he said,"Now you're scared to talk after seeing me? How comical?"Yes, it was indeed comical. So comical that I could burst out in laughter if only my face hadn't stiffened and I wasn't so frozen up in fright."T-this... This can't be real." I managed to say, earning a disapproved growl from him. "How is this real?""There are so many wonders in this world that humans are unaware of." He said, moving back to sit on its butt like a real mutt. "And since humans are oblivious to these things, they just g
My heart was thumping violently. He was holding me with his big firm arms and... I noticed he no longer had the wolf ears and tail but he was still naked. This must be a full transformation and I guessed this was how he went around his daily activities. And for some reason, he suddenly looked familiar, like I had seen him before somewhere, but where?Anyway, I was stuck in a dilemma.I didn't see many problems with his words. I was lonely, after all; that was why I picked up the lonely, injured, and abandoned dog on the side of the street, hoping we could keep each other company for as long as our lonely asses needed. But what were the odds that it would actually become a tall, big, and handsome man? I lost my job, lost my boyfriend, and lost all reason to keep living. So, what could I possibly lose from taking him in? At least, till he regained his memories. If I thought about it on the bright side, I was actually doing a good deed, right?Struck by a momentary rush of goodness, I a
"Hey, what's the problem?" I asked, going to kneel beside him. "I already said I'd let you live here, so you can stop trying to garner my sympathy." I said but all I got from him was soft groans. He looked like he was in pain. First, he humbled himself, and now he was doing this? Just what would he have me do if he ended up acting like a sick pup?But it did not look like he was pretending. At least, the cold sweat breaking out could not be faked.I dropped my hand on his forehead. He was cold and was growing pale as well. "Oh my God!" I exclaimed in fright. "He's not dying, is he?" Wait, if he died, wouldn't all this just come to an end? No, where in hell would I hide his body? I wasn't even sure that I could carry him. I would be accused of murder and then... "Ngh," he was still groaning. "Okay, Micheal, get your act together. First, I need to try and calm him down. But I have not the slightest idea what's wrong with him, so..." I paused as an idea hit me. "Okay, first I'll
General POV"You imbeciles!" Came the loud roar of a man flipping the contents of the table. He raged at the men in suits all lined up in front of him with their heads respectfully bowed. He had a little Italian assent in his tone as he hissed in disdain and cussed at the men in front of him."How are you supposed to tell me that you have no idea where the Alpha is? You're supposed to be the best with your nose yet you come to me with excuses up your asses. What is this?" He raged, his breath ragged and his appearance disoriented as he creased his eyebrows. "What am I going to tell the chairman?" He asked, shoving his fingers through his hair. "No, what am I going to tell the elders. They will have my neck! I will lose my place as a Beta, and my Lord, where in the world could he be? What if the pursuers got him?"His face continued to wrinkle in worry and disturbance. This man was Rhaegar, a Beta with beautiful blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes, and also a shapeshifter. He is the
Meanwhile, in Micheal's house,After being forcefully kissed and continuously swearing at himself, his stomach growled, and that reminded him that it was still in the mornings. So, he had to cook and clean the house, even though there wasn't much to clean since he didn't have a habit of messing up after himself. He took his dirty clothes to his washing machine, tucked them all in, and sighed before moving to get a vacuum. Micheal felt even more exhausted after such a wild morning with the wolf man whose name he did not even know. "What do I do with him?" Micheal asked himself. "Should I just throw him out now that he's unconscious? No, that wouldn't be an ethical thing to do, and he could attack me all of a sudden. I wouldn't stand a chance." He shook his head while sighing and went to the kitchen. "Besides, I already promised to let him stay, even though I'm quite sure he didn't hear that part since he was groaning in pain. Hah, I have it hard, this life. I should just hurry up wit
By the time the wolf man woke up, it was already evening, and beside him was... Micheal, resting his head on the bed while sitting on the floor. He was fast asleep."How can you drop your guard so much when there's someone else in your house?" He asked in a low tone as he sat up. His head ached, causing him to grimace in pain. "Ugh," he exclaimed and looked up.He tried to recall what had happened for him to suddenly pass out. It was during his transformation. It was just a simple task of transforming into a pup, so why did he pass out?"I'm not that weak," he said with a husky voice. "That little shouldn't put me down but..." He looked around, noticing the sun was already going down. "... I seem to be weak at this point. I cannot venture out in this state."He looked at Micheal. He planned to use this opportunity to the fullest. He dropped his feet from the bed, planning to stand and look around when he caught sight of the clothes Micheal had prepared for him.He wore them right away
Micheal decided to draw up a roaster on the chores of the house. Since the wolf man was going to live with him going forward till God knows when they would then to share the housework starting from the first day There was no way in hell he was going to take on all that responsibility on his own. He wasn't a nanny."Alright, wolfman, this is what we're going to do from now--""Noah," the wolf man suddenly interrupted him and Micheal looked at him, confused. "What was that?""Do not call me wolf man. I don't remember much but I believe my name is Noah. So, call me Noah instead. Alpha Noah." He said and for a moment, Micheal stared at his face.He was always looking so serious and stern. He looked indifferent. So, were all werewolves like that?"Tch," Michael clicked his tongue. "look at you giving yourself a title. Alpha or not, in this house, you're just Noah, got it?" He turned his head away from him. "There's no way I'm going to call you Alpha Noah like we're in some fantasy book."
Micheal looked at what Noah was pointing out and discovered it was the laundry system. Yeah, of course. They had to switch days on who would pick up the filthy clothes and drop them in the laundry."I've already done that today while you were asleep." Micheal said. "But the next time we need to do the laundry, it's your turn, so I'll assist you to make sure you don't destroy my machine in the process."Noah nodded. He was level-headed, but what Micheal did not like about him was the level of seriousness that was no different from indifference plastered on his face.He was taking everything calmly but at the same time, it felt like he just didn't care. He just wanted to get it over with."Also, do not barge into the bathroom as you please." Micheal added. "I could be in there. So, learn to knock. Same with my room. It's not your house, remember? And there's someone else living with you. You have to learn manners and not act like a barbarian. I won't forgive you just because you're not
As Micheal's whisper faded away, Noah's gaze drifted down to Micheal's face. His hands, still grasping Micheal's arm, pulled him closer, their bodies swaying together.Micheal's eyes, cloudy with desire and alcohol, locked onto Noah's, his lips parting slightly. He felt Noah's warm breath dance across his skin, sending shivers down his spine. It was like every other night, but it seemed like his senses and sensitivity were heightened a great deal thanks to the alcohol in his system. He probably wouldn't remember what he did the next day but he didn't care. He just wanted to get high in the moment.Without a word, Noah leaned in, his lips brushing against Micheal's. The kiss was soft, and gentle, as if Noah was trying to get a reaction out of Micheal.Micheal frowned. This soft and slow kiss was not what he signed up for. So, he freed his hand from Noah's grip, surprisingly, and pulled him deeper into the kiss. Their lips moved in a rough motion with Micheal taking the lead this time a
"Why... Are you doing this?" Noah asked. "It's because someone like me doesn't have any worth and shouldn't be alive." Micheal said sadly. "No one will care if I die anyway. I'm just a useless waste of space. So it'll be better for everyone if I speed up my death a bit,""But I care!" Noah declared, causing Micheal to pause. "And I need you. Waking up without my memories was..." He shut his eyes tight, cussing himself for trying to confess this, "...scary. Not knowing where I was, who I was, or what had happened to me made me feel so paranoid, but I believe I have been trained to keep such feelings under lock in my heart, so I never showed it. The fear I feel... It's so great that I worry that in this world where I am familiar with nothing and no one, the only person giving me shelter would also disappear, leaving me in the dark for those who are trying to kill me. As powerful as I may be... I have no confidence that I can win when I'm still trapped in oblivion. That is why I choose
Micheal sat Noah down and Noah, who obediently waited to hear what Micheal had to say, looked impossibly innocent.Even for a big man like him, thanks to the striking features of his face, he looked like he would never commit a crime in his life. But who knew just what he was up to when he was still with his pack."Hah!" Micheal sighed feeling depressed. "So, you have no idea what you did last night?" He asked him."When? Before I helped you take your bath or after?" Noah asked and that oblivion expression caused Micheal to feel even more depressed.Even if he did not get depressed after what had happened to him, Noah's oblivion was enough to drag him into depression."So, you have no idea what you did last night when you crawled into my bed in the middle of the night?" He flared at him, raging angrily. "You literally take advantage of me every damn time you close your eyes and..." He stopped talking, his heart pounding loudly for some reason. He clutched his chest and looked away.H
Micheal was still a bit confused. Was Noah worried about him or not?Well, based on his recent observation, he could just conclude that Noah was worried about the life of his benefactor and the one sheltering him.Since he did not have his memories, he could not go anywhere all by himself and people were chasing him too.So, he needed Micheal. And for that reason, he wouldn't let anything happen to him.'But I don't get how that has anything to do with me crying over my broken heart?' Micheal thought, sticking the sharp end of the pizza slice in his mouth while keeping his eyes on Noah. 'It's not like crying will kill me. If he saw me crying, he could just ignore it and act like he didn't see anything. So, why did he wake me up?'Noah, on the other hand, was also wondering the same thing. As much as he tried to put reason to his action, why he woke Micheal up just after seeing him act so pitiful in his sleep, he could not get it quite right.'I can't allow anything to happen to him.'
"I... I don't like this silence," Micheal suddenly said, releasing the air that was stored up in his puffed cheeks but Noah did not say anything about it.Micheal was annoyed. For how long were they going to live like this? For as long as Noah's memories laid dormant? What if they never came back?He saw somewhere that memories are often triggered by taking the amnesia patient to a familiar place. So, if he took Noah to one of the places he was familiar with, his memories would likely come back. Maybe a fragment or so, but it was still something to help understand who he was.But how in the world was he going to accomplish that task when he knew nothing about Noah? He could ask Noah for the places he used to frequent, but what do you know, he's lost his memory so nope, that was out of the question.Micheal sighed."Can't we just put up a missing person poster or something? Your family or your pack might be able to find you faster that way." Micheal blurted out."And so will the guys w
His reasons were purely out of a desperation to live. It was like using Micheal to stay safe but to make it up to Micheal; he would work like a slave in his house, learn the things he wasn't good at, and make sure the thoughts of dying never crossed Micheal's mind.Even if he had to annoy him to death with his persistence for that to happen, he would do it.That was how desperate he was to survive even without his memories. Something was waiting for him, he knew it. As an Alpha, duty-bound to his pack, he should feel an urgent need to quickly get bus memories and reclaim his rightful place. Yet, a peculiar sense of calm had settled over him just after two days of living here. It was as if the tranquil life of a nobody was more appealing than the mighty Alpha he once was.And it made him wonder, what kind of life did he live? He must've been proud, walking with authority and his head held high. He must've been revered but... That feeling, even though he did not remember it too well,
Micheal went silent. He was angry but he could not even prolong the matter with him because he understood Noah.It was like being in debt and knowing there was no other way to repay this debt weighing on his back, he decided to do whatever he could.Even if that meant shamelessly trying to bathe his benefactor."I get it. I get it. But there are some lines you shouldn't cross, Noah." Micheal said. He could not see Noah's face but he was certain he had that indifferent look on his face.He was devoid of emotions and acted like a remote-controlled robot, sticking to his principles and the commands he was carrying out.The only times he saw a different emotion on his face was when... He was sleepwalking.'Wait, I should probably bring this up with him, right? That bad sleeping habit of his.'"What are the lines?" Noah asked and Micheal glanced over his shoulder at him. Was he asking what lines he shouldn't cross?Of course, it was his personal space."You have to respect my opinion." Mic
Micheal felt uncomfortable and was rather embarrassed at the thought of someone helping him take a bath. Sure, he had baths with his boyfriend but...His mind wandered towards the past, his ex used to be loving and gentle. And because he was younger, he had a bold and enthusiastic energy. He was loving too.He could remember winters when he'd rush to work, only to get a call from the security on the down floor telling him that someone was looking for him. He'd rush down only to find Zane with a cheerful smile."You forgot your scarf, you dummy." Zane would say, wrapping the black scarf around his neck and smiling heartily. "If you catch a cold, it's a one-way ticket to the hospital, and you know you hate needles."Micheal laughed and thanked him while blushing. It was warm to know there was someone who cared for him.Zane was warm, but then that warmth gradually began to fade with time. He was suddenly nonchalant, always busy with something and spending nights out.He also started mak
Micheal was pissed and Noah, well... He was simply oblivious. He claimed to have no idea how he got out of his clothes and how he got into Micheal's bed.He was just as confused as Micheal, only... Micheal wasn't exactly confused as he had discovered Noah had a bad sleepwalking habit. It was like there was a pervy and shameless personality that laid dormant and only attacked Micheal when the present Noah was asleep or unconscious.'Does he go around sexually harassing anyone close by after falling asleep?' Micheal wondered, but he could not find an answer since Noah had lost his memory. And then, an idea hit him.'Wait, what if Noah was actually such a pervert and losing his memory gave him a chance to turn a new leaf?' he slammed his fist on realization. 'That could be it.' he thought but then realized how absurd that would be since Noah was an Alpha of a possibly powerful pack. So, he was probably reputable and not a pervert.'Tsk, I almost felt better thinking bad of him.' he thou
