‘‘What will happen then?’’ Amir wondered at Alexander’s silence.

It was what Alexander thought, but didn’t dare to say out loud.

‘‘We will be even stronger together,’’ Alexander lied to the Omega nervously, and quickly hung up.

Amir did find his action a little weird but ignored him. Now, he had to get dressed up for the meeting, and prepare. Soon, Katherine would be dead.

So, he got up and searched his closet, wanting to look good for the meeting. He wanted to look both dazzling and intimidating at the same time.

He ended up choosing one of his favorite black suspender pants, and a silk white blouse tucked in. Along with his expensive heeled loafers, his outfit was complete.

Nikolai was also ready and had all of the evidence gathered in his laptop files.
