[ Denise's POV ]

Few weeks has passed after Mavis and I discovered that his dad has cancer, and he has been doing his very best, taking care of his dad. He insisted that his Dad get admitted to the hospital, in order to sustain his life span, and I supported him too, in taking care of his dad, and for the first time in my life, it felt so good to have a father-in-law.

So many things happened in the last few weeks, Angela was fortunate to celebrate her birthday, and it was the talk of my neighborhood, because Mavis showered Angela with lots of gifts like he promised. He also brought my family a new apartment. At first I didn't want him to get my family an apartment because he spent so much during Angela's birthday, and moreover the apartment cost thousands of dollars. But after so much pressure from Mavis, I agreed to it.

My mom and Angela moved into the beautiful apartment, and they're living so well thanks to Mavis, who keeps supporting them with everything they need.
