Do you want me to babysit you again

[ Denise's POV ]

When I thought all hope of surviving from the pool was lost, Mavis jumped inside the pool to save me.

I never expected he would jump into the pool, just to save the woman he hates, and that's why I couldn't stop crying, and at the same time thanking him as well.

And when he caught me after I was about to fall, I felt this sensation building inside of me, and that was why I quickly freed myself from him.

"I can walk on my own" I said with a voice that wasn't audible, and Mavis slowly removed his hands from my waist.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

I could feel the worries in his voice, but I chose not to buy his cheesy words this time around, he might just make a mockery of me tomorrow.

"Yes I can walk, thank you Mavis" I said and walked away from him. My right ankle was hurting so badly, I might have sprained it when the unknown person pushed me inside the pool.

I was still struggling to walk with my sprained ankle, when Mavis carried me in a bridal style.
