It was like a punch in my stomach as I heard Henry's words. Although I had wanted Lucian to marry Cassie, it was only because I wanted to ensure the safety of my family. Now that Alicia has taken my place, I did not want Cassie with Lucian.

"Why are you wasting your time with someone who does not love you?" Logan snapped me out of my thoughts, "He cannot even detect that you are no longer with him."

He gave a demeaning laughter and Henry joined too. I felt hurt and did not know how to react to this piece of news.

I watched Logan bend to pick up the dress which he pressed forcefully into my hands.

He said, "Be good or I might just have to make you learn the hard way."

After a long look at us, they turned away not forgetting to lock the door behind them. Kelly held my arm.

"What will you do now?" she asked and I just sank on the bed forlornly with no idea what do.
