"So, it was my Dad after all," I muttered bitterly, my voice barely above a whisper.

I clenched my fist, struggling to contain the anger and disbelief swirling within me. How could he do that to his own people? As an Alpha, isn’t he supposed to protect his people? Isn’t he supposed to uphold equality and fairness for all?

I couldn’t shake the feeling that my Dad had played like the moon goddess, manipulating Shawn and Elaine’s lives as if they were pawns. Did he truly have the right to do so? How could he wield such power over their fates?

“Tell me, Doctor, why did you do it? Why did you play with your patient’s lives like that? Aren’t you supposed to let fate take its course? If Elaine was destined to die that day, why didn’t you allow that to happen and end up sacrificing the life of an innocent omega for her to live?”
